I have attached the invoice from the day we performed the service. It is acknowledged and signed by whomever was responsible for letting us in that day. We are more than happy to re-clean the room (with him there watching us to make sure he's satisfied) with a pet treatment and enzyme deodorizer to alleviate the smell they are noticing. He can also keep the $100 we offered. This is our resolution.

Originally, we had told Mr. [redacted] that a patch in that spot would never look good since it is in a high traffic area. He insisted that a patch was the way he wanted to go and that was all he was interested in doing and to proceed. I can have my technicians give an official statement if need...

be. After he stated he was unhappy with the work, we estimated a replacement cost at a discounted rate to make up for the price of the patchwork he requested. He denied the replacement of the carpet. Once he continued to state that he was still unhappy, we told him that there was simply nothing else we could do to make a patch in that area look better. We offered him the $100 back on the phone and he agreed. We will not refund any more money nor will we replace the carpet for free. He signed off on and paid for work he agreed to have done. I am rejecting this response because: the response contains two material misrepresentations. (1) the statment that "Originally, we had told Mr. [redacted] that a patch in that spot would never look good since it is in a high traffic area" is patently false.This is the primary basis of my complaint. If they HAD given me this information, I would not have used a patch as the stain was relatively minor. In fact, this is the first time (after multiple phone conversations and an in person visit) in which they have taken this position. (2) I absolutley never accepted a settlement for $100. In fact, in response to that offered settlement, I indicated that I would prefer to file suit than accept the $100 for a several hundred dollar problem. After I threatened to file suit, the business representative told me to go ahead and do so, and terminated the phone call. In fact, the check that was sent is sitting uncashed in my drawer specifically because it purports to "settle all claims." I would be more than happy to either return the check or destroy it.In fact, at this point, it is likely that I will have to spend closer to $900 to resolve this problem (rather than the initially estimated $600-700). After looking at both [redacted] and [redacted], the only carpet that reasonably matches my existing carpet will cost close to $900 for installation. I've included a picture of how the carpet patch looks. I've also included a picture of the trash that was left behind under my bad after the technician's performed roughly $400 worth of cleaning services. Additionally, I'm in the process of selling the home, and have multiple potential buyers complain about the animal smell. There has not been an animal in the room since the carpet was cleaned. Consequently, not only did this company ruin the carpet, they failed to even perform the services they were contracted to perform (cleaning the carpet). If a resolution cannot be reached through the Revdex.com, I will likely be filing suit against the company.
