I was hired by Ms [redacted] to create design concepts for her home, including design concepts for her living, dining, kitchen and laundry roomsI created design renderings including room layouts, furnishings, flooring, colors, lighting and tilesMs [redacted] initially seemed pleased with many aspects of the designs presentedI do regret that our original plans for the kitchen island were not possible once we inspected the sink pipes and realized the constraints of working on a slab foundation would not allow enough movement of the sinkWe did deliver working designs to Ms [redacted] and had every intention of continuing with design service at no additional fee until a fully acceptable design plan was determinedMs [redacted] did not want to continue working together and asked for a partial refundAny material samples that were left with Ms [redacted] were included in her design fee and belong to herThe amount paid by Ms [redacted] was a $consultation fee and $for design concepts of all said rooms

I do regret that our original plans for the kitchen island were not possible once we inspected the sink pipes and realized the constraints of working on a slab foundation would not allow enough movement of the sink. We did deliver working designs to Ms. [redacted] and had every intention of continuing with design service at no additional fee until a fully acceptable design plan was determined. Ms. [redacted] did not want to continue working together and asked for a partial refund. Any material samples that were left with Ms. [redacted] were included in her design fee and belong to her. The amount paid by Ms. [redacted] was a $100 consultation fee and $2000 for design concepts of all said rooms.
