In December I started hearing a thumping sound coming from the rear of the vehicle I took the car to the service department to have them find the source of the noise I was informed that I had a bolt in the tire treads I asked if they could plug the tire to which I was told that they could not since it is too close to the side walls I was given a quote for a new tire about $ When they checked their inventory, they did not have one in stock and asked if I wanted another brand I told them that since the car was new, I preferred all four tires the sameThere is a tire store two businesses away from the dealership and I told them that I would go there for the new tire The serviceman became nervous and stated that "they may be able to plug it there for you, we just have higher standards." When I went to the tire store, they were able to plug my tire for $
Buyer beware!!! If you can't be trusted with a $tire, can you be trusted with any other mechanical issues?
