I am getting charged for Radar sensor that is not required. Diagnostic was not properly done, explanation for dashboard error message is not accurate
On Monday December 2nd I visited Headquarter Toyota, car dealership located at 5895 NW 167th street, Miami-FL, 33015. The reason for my visit was to check on warning/error message on car's dashboard, Toyota Camry 2018, that read - Blind Spot Unavailable and Rear Cross Traffic Unavailable. We arrived (wife and daughter) at 4:20pm, gave our car to *** (Dealer Rep) and were told to wait for 1.5hrs to 2hrs, for car inspection and service. 2 hrs later *** mentioned that in order to fix the error message on the dashboard ( Blind Spot Unavailable and Rear Cross Traffic Unavailable) a computer diagnostic had to be done and I had to pay $89, this was not covered by my lease service agreement. Close to around 7:10 - 7:20pm. *** comes back and quotes me a Radar Sensor for $554 plus labor $630 for a total $1184, which would be the solution for the error message and would enable the car's Blind Spot alert system to work correctly again. He further explained that this was caused by a front bumper -apparent/ probable hit ( I have not been involved in any accident or crash) perhaps a car backing up (no mayor dent or broken pieces in sight, only minor scratches and very small dent on the left side, 2 feet away from the Toyota logo). This "hit" broke the sensor, located in the front bumper behind the logo, and for that reason the Blind Spot feature was not working properly. I don't agree with *** explanation , Blind Spot Sensor is in the rear of the car, features that require front sensor are working properly. When I asked the manager *** for a copy of the diagnostic he was not able to provide it, I believe this was not done, even though I got charged. Asked a mechanic for an explanation, and it was completely random - ending in probable lack of freon (really?). I was told a manager would be contact in 24hrs. Its been more than 24hrs.

Desired Outcome

1. Provide copy of diagnostic report performed on December 2nd. showing cause of error message (Blind Spot Unavailable and Rear Cross Traffic Unavailable) being Radar Sensor (front bumper) quoted by *** and *** 2. Repair/ reset/ recalibrate - Blind Spot and Rear Cross Traffic system at no cost.

I purchased a Toyota Camry in March, 2017. I had a scheduled maintenance at Toyota dealer last month with millage of 35K. I was told that I needed to change my tire ASAP. I called Toyota headquarter and they told me that they didn't care of the tire warranty and referred me to the tire manufacturer (Bridgestone). Bridgestone asked me to go to their shop for further check. After checking, they told me that they had 0 day and 0 mile of warranty and recommended me another set of tires. The main reason to bring me to their shop was to sell me another set of tires. What a joke! I asked Toyota if I should go to the paint vendor if the paint peels off. Please be careful! I have emails from both sides (Toyota and Bridgestone) if needed. Both of them said it was not their fault.

They agreed to pay off my lease but they did not pay it in full. They were $97.91 short. They also damaged my old lease that I turned in there.
The contract I signed with *** (finance) specifically stated that Toyota would cover my current lease balance due plus the disposition fee. According to my Mercedes Lease End Statement, the pay off was $97.91 short. Secondly, I DID NOT leave my Smart car at their dealership with ANY dings, dents or scratches. The Mercedes Lease End Statement charged $286.76 for damage. I called and aske dto view the video of their property the day I drove in. They said it is only kept for a week. When I called Headquarter Toyota to speak to a manager, they kept telling me to call different people. 3 days later, a sales manager named "***" said he took a picture of my car when I drove in. I asked him to email it to me. The damage on the car in the photo he sent me wasn't even my car. The damage Mercedes assessed me for was in a totally different area of the car. *** tried to say that was my car!

Desired Outcome

They owe Mercedes $97.91 for the Smart car lease pay off, and $286.76 for the damage to the Smart car that happened AFTER I left it at their dealership.

I received a call on 6.12.19 stating Headquarter Toyota was sending a check for the $97.91 to Mercedes. The woman told me she would email me to confirm this information. I never received the email. I will not accept the response until Mercedes receives the check and closes my account as paid in full.

I spoke with a rep from Mercedes today and they received the check yesterday. My account is now being zeroed out and closed. It's a shame that it took this long and many attempts on my part to rectify this prior to contacting the Revdex.com. Thank goodness for the Revdex.com and their assistance to resolve this matter.

The UPS packages had already left our office for the day however the driver had not yet picked up from our shipping dept. so I was able to get the package out today and Mercedes will have it on Monday. I leased my Toyota Tacoma about 2 years ago and it has given me issues with the acceleration getting stuck multiple times and they don't fix it.
I have taken the truck back to them more than a few times (I would say between 5-10 times for the same issue) about the same issue, they always tell me its a gas tank issue and that they fixed it but then when I drive the truck it happens again shortly after picking it up. The dealer always gives me the run around and tells me I have to call the 1800 number and that they cant or wont fix it because its my fault? I don't understand how I lease a brand new vehicle and when it starts having issues that clearly should be covered under warranty, it is MY fault and they don't fix it. This morning I found there was a GAS LEAK and thank God I smelled it before driving it because this car could have blown up on me while driving since the leak was spilling gasoline right on the engine! It is just absurd that I pay Toyota every month and on time and they refuse to help me with my issue with THEIR truck.

Desired Outcome

I want them to either fix my truck, or replace it. I have been so inconvenienced by this truck. It is definitely a lemon and they are refusing to acknowledge or even help me with it. I have taken time off work to take the truck to them multiple occasions, I have been without a car, I have had to use a loner for a while, and no resolution. I am paying for this truck and they wont fix my issue it just continues to get worse.

Oil change was never done although I paid for one. Maintenance light on mileage sticker was not changed. I was charged twice $89.00 for repair estimate
I went to headquarter Toyota to get a oil change and a estimate to make repairs to my car which would include changing the engine due to a oil consumption recall which Toyota after testing my car twice said passed. The rep. told me to estimate the car for repairs would be $89.00 which is shown on their document. However, after deciding not to proceed with changing the motor and making repairs at Headquarter at that moment the tech rep. charged me double the fee and told me he would give back $89.00 if I made the repair with Headquarter Toyota. Furthermore, when I went to pick up the car the maintenance req'd light was still on. I checked the oil stick and the oil was low and black. In other words they never changed my oil and I was charged and paid for a oil change. I took video on the day I left and I also have the receipt.

Headquarter is the same dealership that said that my car didn't meet the criteria for the oil consumption recall and would not change the pistons in my engine. I met with The General Manager (***) *** and he admitted that they did not use the approved Toyota testing tape from the manufacturer. I will provide a copy of the S.O.P from the manufacturer.

I've never trusted Headquarter Toyota since Toyota of North Miami did the recall test on my car and provided proof that the car had a oil consumption issue. Unfortunately, my car with the years and mileage was out of the recall period at that time.

I would like to have my oil changed. I would also so like a refund of my $89.00 dollars.

Hi I am trying to contact *** because I bought a 2017 Camry from headquarter Toyota I took it for service and told the about a noise it was making they told me it was fine no noise and I can drive home with the car when I told them I would not just leave with my new car making that noise they suggested that I leave the their I was there now for a total of 9 hours between the first time I went for service then the day I told them again about the noise I have to leave my car no loner car so I was stranded the next day which is Monday 10/09/17 Mr *** told me they would need to replace the engine I ask them why on a new car I missed work 3 days after they told me it would be covered under warranty if the engine need to be replaced then the caller states his name was District manager of Headquarter Toyota told me that my car is not covered under warranty and that I need to bring the loner car back today 10/8/17 because I need to either pay for repairs out of pocket or through my insurance. I spoke with *** the manager at Headquarter Toyota who told me that Toyota would not cover the repair once they send the part in, I called Toyota the warranty department and they told me that they would contact the dealership or try to bring it to another dealership when I went to Headquarter Toyota my car would not start I called the manger over who gave the new car a jump start and asked me to sing the papers to replace my battery I left my car working good with the exception of the noise. I contact everyone after that at the dealership still no calls since they replaced the battery only got a call from the sales guy who sold me the car that I need to return the rental because he is paying out of his pocket. I missed 3 days of work and still no resolution I must bring the car back tomorrow 1013/17 and my car is still not fixed help me *** please. They said the car was driven over something and caused a impact to the oil pan that the warranty will not cover.
