In response to a letter that we received dated 11123/15I [redacted] stopped by [redacted] and talked to [redacted] on 12/2/15 atabout 2:00pm. I went up on the garage roof after we got permission and she informed me that only oneskylight is leaking. These skylights are old...

skylights and the insurance company only paid for the shingles, and that is what we replaced. I explained this to [redacted] and I discussed just removing all 4 skylights since they are in her garage, We are sendingher a estimate to close the skylights in. [redacted] was satisfied with our conversation.Matt B[redacted]

The company took 1,000 of because my husband went and bought ladders to do the roof himself and Bella wanted our business so he stated he would take it off the cost since the ladders could not be returned .. We had multiple issues with them not coming to our house when they were suppose to and we never had a pre existing leak in my daughter room until the roof was redone

According to Matt there was an existing issue so we took 1,000.00 of the contract for that. (this would be the leak)  Im assuming that we found this issue when we went to do the roof and she was not willing to pay the extra to get it fixed so we just left it as is.  Then she claimed she was still having an issue so she left a balance of 462.41 and Matt wiped it away and that was her compensation. That is a total of $1,462.41 in compensation.

The work was completed and finished, then a rain storm came and my roof leaked into my daughters bedroom so I called Matt the owner he came out and looked a leak. The roof was then fixed and no more leaking, but the company did not come and fix the damage after many calls and talking to the seceratary my husband fixed the damage in the bedroom. The damage was roughly 125.00 to fix the ceiling and wall corner. I also have txt messages from Matt stating he deducted money from final bill but the leak was after I paid the monies

In the folder it sates the job was completed on 12/5/13.  I have a completion form signed for 3/8/14 stating all the work is completed.  It also appears that the owner Matt reached out to them regarding the warranty issue.  If you need any further information please let me know.

I am responding to complaint [redacted].  The original contract was signed 8/24/16, we went out to the job initially on 9/27/16 to complete the work and at that point our carpenter had stated he performed the work and the job was complete.  Bella proceeded to invoice Mr. [redacted], being that...

the work was complete per our carpenter.  Unfortunately the homeower did not feel that the job was completed to his satisfaction and called in on 9/28/16 stating that he wanted the work redone.  On 9/30/16 the project manager did go out to the job to view the work and take pictures.  At that point the project manager did feel that we needed to redo the work.  We attempted to complete the work on Monday 10/03/16 however the homeowner preferred us to come on Tuesday 10/04/16.  The work has now been complete to customer satisfaction.  I have attached the completion form signed by the consumer.  The consumer stated that he would either mail the final payment or call in to make a credit card payment.  Bella Construction is now waiting on the final payment.  Please let me know if there are any additional items you need from our company.

Review: I had my roof replaced about a year ago, when the roof was replaced there was a part that leaked into my house and ruined my ceiling/wall. The owner came out to look said he would send someone to fix the issue and I have been calling ever since and no reply.Desired Settlement: I need either them to come out and fix the issue or settle on an amount and I can get someone to fix the repair

Review: They sent their project manager out and looked at the job and admitted that it was not done properly. He also took pictures. He informed us that he would get back to us within 48 hours. He did not. We received a bill for the remaining work that was not competed properly. We paid in advance to repair the flashing on our chimney and it took them at least a month for them to repair it and it wasn't done right. Now we are out this money and we have to find someone else to make this repair. The water is leaking done our chimneyDesired Settlement: To have the flashing fixed properly and our cupola repaired as requested.

Review: Contracted Bella in March for two projects. A roof (which was completed to satisfaction ~1 month after contract) and a new deck. Although much of the deck was completed after ~4-6 weeks, it has not been completed to date (4 months have passed). The deck was assembled with very poor quality and is still missing some railings on the stairs. After complaining several times and sending photos of issues with the work to the company, the owner did visit the job site ~6 weeks ago. He promised his team would be back within 2 weeks to fix several of the issues with quality and to finish the railing. To date, no one has returned and the company has stopped responding to my requests for more information.Desired Settlement: The issues with the work need to be addressed and the railing on the stairs needs to be completed (this is a major safety issue). Additionally, the company has gone back and forth on promises to include an outdoor, child safety gate. This work should also be completed.

All work has been completed and the customer is highly satisfied. The product was back ordered resulting in a delay in the job. Mr. [redacted] has signed a completion form stating that all work has been completed and that he is satisfied. If there is any other concerns or problems please let us know.

This organization is one of the worst I have ever dealt with. After a storm hit my property on 6/30/15, Bella was one of a number of firms to contact me about roof and gutter repairs. Entered into an agreement on 8/1/15. Roof was installed on 8/24/15. Withheld final payment due inferior workmanship on rear patio roof, gutter installation, and drain trough guarding. Bella owner arrived with rep on 9/16/15 to assess concerns. Gave assurances repairs would be completed. Crew never arrived until 11/18/15. They were supposed to call in advance of arrival but, never did. I arrived at my house to find the work crew using my grandson's basketball to play a game of soccer. After completion of supposed repairs, found numerous nails, aluminum pieces and roofing material scrap in my yard and landscaping

Company rep stated remediation was completed and apologized for workers lack of professionalism. In early January, an entire section of the rear patio roof lifted off during a wind storm. Could not reach Bella. To avoid greater damage from a impending snow event, I repaired the roof myself. To date, water still runs behind my gutters when it rains and the gutters do not drain properly. It is likely I will need to pay a real professional to correct the gutter problem.

I would never recommend this company for any work. Their workers are very unprofessional, poor workmanship, very slow service, and do not correct their mistakes.

Bella Constructions Laborers are sloppy and leave a ton of mess. They have no consideration for the homeowner or business owner. Ive had to clean up tons of garbage weeks after they were gone. We gave specific instructions to the people who work for Bella and they neglected them. I would never use this company again!

Review: B[redacted]a construction replaced my garage roof which has skylights. Not soon after it started to leak. Each time I called they would come out and [redacted] where the leak was. After the third leak I demanded someone come out and fix the issue correctly not just put a quick fix on it. The company came out to check the leak again and did a quick fix and left. Never t[redacted]ing me what the issue was or any information pertaining to my leaking roof. Before they came out I was assured the problem would be solved and items would be ordered to fix my roof. After two weeks and no one called I called them and they said my skylights need replaced. I found this a little odd considering before they replace my roof the skylights were completely fine. I finally called another construction company to look at my roof. He didn't even have to go on the roof (which he did) to know what was going on. B[redacted]a construction failed to inform us that the skylights need to be replaced before you can place a new roof . Otherwise the skylights will not hold a seal and Will leak. He then got on top of the roof and here all four skylights are cocked with glue. Here the insurance doesn't cover skylights so with the wind and hail damage and to get money from my insurance they failed to leave out that very important detail about the skylights.Desired Settlement: I would like to them replace all four skylights for withholding information. At the most pay the other construction company for doing so.

Review: Bella Construction was hired to replace the roof, front and rear porches, gutters, and to repair the french drain. The issue is the drain that doesn't work and was never fully installed. An approximate 8 foot section that connects the drain to the sewage was never even dug up. Owner claims "We" asked him to install this pipe when we never had any part in designing the drainage system nor were we given any options or told it wouldn't work as they are claiming now. After countless unanswered calls and messages for over four months, finally we were called back. We waited hours for them to show, and called again. [redacted] refused to even come to look at the drain, claiming our drainage system they put in is inadequate and to stop calling and texting him(he asked me to text him pictures since he refused to look at it in person). If they knew the drain was not going to work, why weren't we informed? Why did they install it? The drain isn't tilted correctly so it doesn't drain. It just pools in the middle of the yard. There appears to be no rock around the pipe, just poorly reburied in mud. Useless. So much for the 2 yr warranty...Desired Settlement: The drain install was contracted for only $500 over the generous insurance settlement allotted for the roof and other repairs. Since the drain is incorrectly and only partially installed, it will need completely removed and redone. Unfortunately this is going to cost much more than $500, but since the remainder is provided for other repairs, I feel the $500 is more than reasonable.

Bella Construction & Development Inc. did do a small french drain in the backyard of [redacted]'s house. [redacted] had asked Bella to dig a trench about 6” deep and the width of his yard in front of a landscape wall and then fill this trench with a perforated pipe and gravel with an inch or two of dirt over top.

Bella did install this drain but we did stop about 5' short of his neighbors house so the water would not go into his neighbors yard. [redacted] asked us to extend this trench to the neighbor and I do not feel comfortable extending this drain to his neighbors yard. He said “I do not get along with them anyway, so just do it” If the neighbor would get water in their yard then Bella would be liable.

This drain is not even near the size that [redacted] would need in the first place, due to the size of a large hill directly behind his house.

I will be willing to give a partial of his money back for the last 5' or so.

I really do not want any problems with any neighbors of customers, we are willing to give back $250.00 (maybe [redacted] can ask the township if he can drain the water on the street or somewhere else where it will not effect anyone)
