Review: A representative of the company approached me over the summer regarding hail damage to my house. He had told me that everything would be upgraded; siding, roofing shingles if need be, and that they'd even paint my old shutters.I agreed to allow him to inspect my house; he stated he found damage so I arranged a meeting with my insurance adjuster. I eventually signed what I thought was a thorough agreement with Bella for them to do the siding, gutters, and downspouts. After giving a $500. deposit, I waited about 8 weeks and contacted them to find out a start date. I was given a date but it was not upheld. I called again after about 7 days and was given another date and the work started. On day two, I looked at the work they were doing and to my horror they were replacing my 1/2 inch foam insulation with paper thin "House Wrap" weather guard and telling me that it was insulation. I immediately called Dave, the man I initially spoke with...he told me "that's what most people are going with". I told him it was unacceptable. He said he'd go pick up some "FanFold", which at the time I did not know exactly what that was. Later that day I found out, it is the cheapest 1/8th inch "piece of crap" insulation you can find. I communicated with Dave several times that day (11/11), telling him the resolution was unacceptable. I want an insulation installed that is of equal quality to what was removed. He stated he made good and that's all he's going to do without more money; and he stated there's actually nothing in the agreement about insulation so I just threw that in "at no cost".Desired Settlement: I would like them to install insulation under the new siding that is of the same quality and R- value as the old 1/2 inch foam insulation, that they removed/.
