I understand that this has been a very tough process for [redacted]. I don't think he fully understands my (Bella Restoration) role in this insurance claim. I was contacted by [redacted] to write an estimate for Moving & Storing personal property. They had a roof collapse and needing it...
corrected. I began the walk through and took photos in a front room, dining room, and kitchen. Once I got passed the kitchen it was obvious I couldn't get into the bedroom due to the amount of contents. I then began to talk to [redacted] the property owner and insured. He then told me they were going to take some time to move enough contents so we can gain access to the bedroom so I stopped at that point. I then notified the insurance company and they let me know they were probably going to go in a different direction with this claim and would let me know if they needed my services again later down the line. I have not returned to the house, I have not done anything with the claim. I instructed the insured when he came into the office that we were not handling this claim any longer. He was still asking questions about getting compensated for living expenses. I think the owner is confused of what role my company is playing in this claim. I have told them a few times to contact [redacted] and let them know of their concerns or needs. Please let me know if there is anything else I can answer or do in regards to this complaint.
