This business response was received via email by ** at Revdex.com, along with the attached documents.Dear [redacted]: I just wanted to offer the following response to the above complaint. I was hired by the complainant to engage in a wage garnishment based on the child support order that the...

complainant identified as having been issued by a foreign jurisdiction court in [redacted] in the state of [redacted]. I filed the proper paperwork here in [redacted] in order to get the order necessary even though the original child support order was alleged to have been initiated out of [redacted]. I have attached a copy of that filing to demonstrate the work that we put forth in order to accomplish the task.  I paid the filing fee as well. Unfortunately it turned out that one of the key representations made by the complainant was absolutely untrue. The entire filing was based on the premise that the [redacted] court had in fact issued a child support order and the complainant merely wanted me to make sure that the effect of that order could be transferred to [redacted] County Domestic Relations Court for the purposes of garnishing the wages of her former husband who was still located in [redacted]. It turned out that the complainant had never received any sort of child support order at all and  in fact had merely been the subject of a default divorce in [redacted] without any judicial order requiring child support to begin with. Obviously, it is impossible to enforce a child support order from [redacted] when the complainant has never obtained the original child support order from the [redacted] court to begin with. I explained this to the complainant and indicated that we would have to follow additional steps to see if it were  possible to transfer the entirety of the domestic relations case here to [redacted] County and then see if we could get in order for support from some agency or court here within this local jurisdiction. I did not mislead the complainant, rather the complainant rather significantly misled me in asserting that she was already in possession of the domestic relations order and had me file the documents here in [redacted] County based on that presumption. I thank the Revdex.com for giving me the opportunity to respond to this complaint. David M.
