Review: After a few months of owning the vanity we purchased, the door starting cracking, the vanity top started chipping. We are disappointed with the quality of this product. We called BellaTerra to see what could be done and they would only offer for us to call who we bought it from when they are the ones who made the product. The store we bought it from told us to contact them.Desired Settlement: We would like replacement parts to the items damaged.

As a company we strive hard in making sure our customers are happy! I have gone back over the records from May 2012 when she purchased her items. I couldn't find any communication with or about customer except for an updated phone number request so the carrier couple deliver her items.
The customer purchased her items over 2 1/2 yrs ago. We were never notified of any issues that the customer was having with her vanity. Any issues that may have occurred during shipping is suppost to be found when they inspected the shipment when it is delivered. We understand that it doesn't always happen. This is why there are concealed damage claims, so that if there is any issue do to shipping we can address it. However with it being over 2 1/2 yrs ago there is no way that we can determine how the damage occurred.
The customer stated that her vanity started having trouble after a few months of owning the vanity, if this is the case, the item would have fallen under the 1 yr warrenty. With no record or sign of the customer contacting us we are unable to help if we don't know about the problem.

I am rejecting this response because: BellaTerra has done nothing to stand behind the quality of their products. I have a vanity that is falling apart after only a couple years of use and they are basically saying it is not their fault. I would advise all customers to be wary of purchasing any product from BellaTerra.
