resolved . credited my acct. thanks

Review: The product was listed on facebook as a free sample. The cost to the buyer, was only the $4.98 shipping & handling charges. I was totally shocked when I checked my debits on my Checking account, and found a charge from Bellavani.com. I had already been debited for the $4.98 S&H charges. I called the phone number listed on my transaction on my banking statement, I was told that number had been disconnected, was no longer in service, and the number had been assigned to them which was a totally different company. I tried to explain to him that phone numbers were not reassigned over night, and there had been a mistake and I wanted the money deposited back into my account immediately. He insisted I owed the money. I told him this was fraud, false advertising, and I would contact Revdex.com. He told me that it would do me no good, because they were a member of Revdex.com. I told him that did not matter, as complaints were still accepted against them. He had offered me a $100 gift card to Walmart. I told him, that I just wanted the money re-deposited into my account. He said since I turned down the gift card, then our conversation was ended. I went on line, and read all the pages of fine print, and it states that if for any reason I was unsatisfied, the only charges to me would be the S&H charges. I called back and spoke with a female, and she insisted the charges of $98.27 was correct,as it had been longer than the 30 days since the purchase. I told her that it had not been 30 days, and the charges were posted to be charged on 12/8/13 which was 2 days later than today. I got no satisfaction even though I insisted that this was false advertising which was fraud, and the man I had just previously spoken with told me they were a member of Revdex.com which I had checked out, and that was also false. I never got any satisfaction.Desired Settlement: The $98.27 should immediately be deposited in my checking account.

Response:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.

I don't consider this to settle the complaint, because I discovered that this company also charged this same amount to my Discover account in addition to also the $4.98 shipping and handling charges. That was done on the same date as this Visa account. I did not give this company the information to both of these accounts, so they had to obtain this information under fraudulent circumstances. I authorized the $4.98 S&H charges to one account, and the $98.27 to NO account.

Regards,

Review: I had called the company back in October of 2013 and requested that my account be closed and my name and information be removed from the system. I was assured by a representative this was taken care of. Today--Sept 8, 2014, I received an email stating "Dear [redacted] S, Please call 1-866-441-4733 regarding the open balance on your BELLAVANI account. This is a toll-free number for your convenience as this e-mail domain does not accept response emails. Your file number is [redacted].

Sincerely,

Billing Department"

They stated they were sending a bill to a collection agency. I told them I had already paid the amount and asked that my account be closed. I also questioned why I had never received notice of a bill. They told me they had sent notices. I requested a copy of the notice (which they are supposedly sending). I was able to find my bank statement that shows they took $98.27 out of my account on October 16, 2013. The representative then told me I had to wait until I received the notice I requested and she didn't know what I needed to do. I am NOT happy and have serious concern as to why I have heard NOTHING from this company for nearly 11 MONTHS and then they decided to claim I have an over-due balance. This is unethical and shady business practices!!!Desired Settlement: DOCUMENTED INFORMATION THAT MY ACCOUNT HAS BEEN PAID (SINCE 10/16/13) AND MY ACCOUNT IS PERMANENTLY CLOSED.

ALSO I WOULD LIKE ANY OF MY INFORMATION DELETED FROM THEIR RECORDS SO THEY CAN NEVER CONTACT ME AGAIN.

Review: A web site on facebook had a ad for a product name Bellavani. Its a anti aging lotion for around your eyes that help with dark skin and wrinkles. There ad had a sample for 4.97 which I bought. Only wanted a sample so now they send my a bottle of it every 30 days and bill my debet card 98.00 automaticly through mt card. The only way to find out your signing up for this is to go to the bottom of the web page and open the terms and conditions page. Most people don"t do that thinking there only paying for a sample. In my mind yes I should of read every thing I could of. Basically I think they are very deceptive in the way they do buisness and should be checked out. And when I called a stop them from sending more and ripping me off for 98.00 they give you the run around on the phone. These people shoul be stopped if possible or at least checked out im sure there bourder line in breaking the laws of buisness and ripping of the consumer in some way. Thank [redacted]Desired Settlement: I would like to get a refund and if its at all possible see if they are breaking any laws against the consumer.

Review: About a year ago, my credit card information was compromised and Bellavani was one of the companies to receive my information. I have repeatedly called the company trying to cancel these "orders" placed under my name without much luck. I keep receiving bills from their company stating that I owe them money, and product that they send me. They tell me that I need to pay return costs even though I never ordered the product. They could see that the order was placed in another town in Missouri from where I live, about 2 hours from where I live and I have never even been there. They argue with me that I must have placed the order and forgotten. This is a monthly service for about $100 per month. Even after receiving a new credit card many times, they still manage to attempt to place these orders. This must not be a secure transition yet they still try to run it, it seems crazy to me.Desired Settlement: All I want is to be left alone. No products, no bills, no services, ever.

Review: I order a free skin product for 1.99. The company name was not disclosed. I used a purchased $5.00 credit card. The product came, approximately 6 months ago.Today, I receive a collection notice from an unknown company re:Bellavani. The letter asks me to call regarding my $98.37 balance. I called the company. The rep. Would not tell me the name of the company but said they no longer represent Bellavani. I asked her how to reach Bellavani, she said she had no I formation-maybe I should goggle them. I did. The address is in Laguna Hills, Ca. Phone number .isted 888-235-5276. The phone message states they are closed.Desired Settlement: Want my name, info off some collection list.

Review: I was shopping for Walmart on the Internet and a pop-up came up on my screen saying I had won my choice of one of four free prizes, and my choice was a sample of Bellavani facial cream. I was supposed to be charged four dollars and change for shipping, so I gave them my debit card information. I received the product and shortly thereafter they attempted to take $98 out of my checking account. I am on disability and have very limited funds, and did not have $98 in my checking account so the charge was rejected. Then I received another bottle of Bellavani facial cream at a charge of $98. I called Newport Beach Cosmetics and explained the above. I returned the unused, unopened bottle of the product, and told them I did not agree to pay $98 for the first bottle, it was advertised as free. I was told by the Bellavani representative to just return the unused bottle and that would be it. This was in July 2013. Today, April 7, 2014, I received an email about my delinquent account [redacted]. I called and spoke with a representative and told her my story and that I would not pay the $98 they were claiming due for the original bottle. She said ok and hung up. From looking at the Internet, I see other people have had the same problem.Desired Settlement: I want them to remove the delinquent charges from my account and stop collection activity.

Review: I placed an order for Bellavani on Dec. 17, 2013. I can't remember when I called but I called the customer service number and spoke to someone and told her I had not gotten my product. It was maybe 3 weeks later. She told me to be patient and wait 5-7 more business days, and I believe this was documented but I have no idea. I waited a week and still my product did not come in the mail. I called again and was told that they would resend the product and it should be to my house in 5-7 business days. I told the rep that that was what I was told last time and asked if the conversation was being documented becuase I didn't want it to happen again. I was told that everything was being documented. I still have not recieved anything in the mail. And I've been calling and the Customer service number I've been dialing has been saying the business is closed or it just hangs up on me (1-888-235-5276). I have emailed them 2 times asking for my money back since I cannot reach them. This is not the first time I have had issues with this company, but it is the first time I've documented it. The first time I ordered the product from a website that said I got 2 for the price of one. When my order came (about a month later) there was only one bottle in the box. I called and called about my second bottle and never got my second bottle. I let it go because it was a good price for one bottle.Desired Settlement: I either want my money back or the product.

Review: This company is a scammer. The advertised price was $4.95. To be safe, I opened a "ShopSafe" account with Discover card (a separate credit card number from my actual card number, supposedly for the protection of the account holder). I set the smallest limit to make sure that Bellavani will only get $4.95.A couple of weeks ago, I saw an email from Bellavani requesting me to call their 1-866-441-4733. I called the number to tell them to cancel. I was told by the rep that I owe them money from November 2013!? I told the rep that I will check my records. I Opened my Discover card acct and found that they were able to charge me $4.95 on 11/29/2013, $98.37 on 1/14/2014 and $98.27 on 1/24/14. The first shipment I received from them was one bottle measuring approximately 1x1x6 inches. I tried it out but was not impressed at all. I thought Vaseline lotion was just as effective at about $2.99. I then received a second bottle which I threw away (thinking that they cannot charge more than what I set as a limit to my "shopsafe" credit card "NOT"). Friday I received another bill from them requesting payment!!!Desired Settlement: Please refund $98.37+$98.27 = $196.64 to my Discover card acct. You may hold onto the orugucal $4.95 that I approved.[redacted]

Review: On 11/28/2013 I placed a trial order of Bellavani lotion for $4.95. Since I found that the product was not better than a Vaseline lotion, I returned the 2nd bottle that was shipped without my approval. On 1/12/2014 They charged my credit card $98.37 Again on 1/24/2014 a charge of $98.27 showed up on my statement.Desired Settlement: Refund my money back to my Discover Card r send the check to my address:[redacted]

Review: On May 10, 2013, I selected a product marketed by this company from among several free gifts offered by Dell Computer in exchange for completing a survey following a purchase made from Dell. My understanding was that I was only required to pay $4.95 shipping and handling, which I did. I did not authorize additional purchases or charges. On July 9, 2013, an unauthorized debit of $98.37 was charged by Bellavani to the card used for shipping and handling payment. I called the company to resolve the issue and was told that since I had kept the product for over 30 days, I was responsible for paying full price and accepting auto-shipments on a regular basis. I stated that to the best of my knowledge I made no such agreement, that I hereby cancelled it, and that I be able to return the unopened product for a refund of $98.37. At first, I was refused, then offered partial credits, as the phone representative tried to haggle with me. I insisted that I would accept no less than full credit following the company's receipt of the unopened product. The representative, who would not give her name, next tried to get me to buy another product. I refused. Finally, she agreed to full credit pending receipt of the returned product, and gave me a return authorization number. On August 6, 2013, I received an email stating that the refund transaction had been made. The refund posted to my account on August 9, 2013. I then immediately requested the bank to block attempts at further charges. Between April 7, 2014 and present, I have received several emails from [email protected] and letters from Bellavani Express Response Department, P.O. Box 406, Farmingdale, NY 11735-0406 (1-866-441-4733, www.autobillpayer.com), regarding inability to charge my card for an "open balance" of $98.37 and my failure to pay same. The letters include threats of "placement of your account for full collection activities" by "[redacted], Audit Manager". I have supporting documentation to substantiate my complaint.Desired Settlement: I want the company to stop trying to contact me or make any further attempts to fraudulently bill me for money I do not owe.

Review: They took out $97.27 and $98.27 out of my checking a total of $195.54 on Dec 9, 2013. First I bought the 2 samples Advanced Anti Aging Serum and Advanced Anti Aging eye cream. for 4.?? each which was a mistake. Then when I seen this hugh amount of money taken out of my checking I called to cancel. They said I could cancel future shipments but not that one. And it would take awhile to refund my money, because 1st I would have to receive the products then return them and only after that they could refund the money. The gave me 2 refund numbers But I never received the products. I couldn't get a hold of them my phone, I kept getting disconnected, so I wrote a letter. No response. Tried calling again - there phone was disconnected.Desired Settlement: All I want is my 195.54 refunded.

Review: Last spring I purchased a trial anti aging cream from Bellavani for about $5.00. I was unaware that if you did not cancel within a certain time frame you would be continually sent another cream and charged for it until you cancel. I received 1 other cream and was charged (and paid)when I called up the company to cancel any further shipments. They said ok they cancelled it and I had NO OUTSTANDING BALANCE. 1 year later I get an email and numerous phone calls from some 3rd party place trying to collect $98.37 on behalf of Bellavani. Finally I spoke to a very rude and unprofessional woman who would give me absolutely NO OTHER INFORMATION other than I needed to pay the open balance. I told her I would not but I was going to call Bellavani directly. I called Bellavani directly and they said my account was cancelled and I had NO OPEN BALANCE. They would NOT SEND ME ANYTHING in writing but said they would take care of it. I heard nothing back from anyone for a while until the other day I received in the mail a letter from a [redacted] "Customer Care Specialist" at ###-###-#### P.O. Box 406 Farmingdale, NY 11735-0406 (Farmingdale was spelled wrong) (the same 3rd party number that was harassing me this spring for the $98.37). They are continuing to insist I owe this money when I do not. These people are scamming people and trying to scam me. I WANT AND NEED THIS TO STOP. At this point there is no working phone number for Bellavani anymore and I really don't know what else to do.Desired Settlement: I beg of you to clear my name and MAKE THESE PEOPLE STOP HARASSING ME. NO MORE LETTERS, NO MORE EMAILS, NO MORE PHONE CALLS, NO MORE CONTACTING ME IN ANY WAY!!! I do NOT NEED OR WANT THIS to effect my credit in any way AND I WANT IT TO STOP. PLEASE!

Review: Signed up for sample via face book. $4.95 shipping included. Sample only. Did not agree for further shipments. They are now charging me on a monthly bases. Many calls no results.Desired Settlement: Refund my full amount.

Review: I ordered a free sample from an ad on Facebook only needed to pay shipping and handling. Was about $5 and some change. So gave my credit card to pay the shipping and handling. This was about a year ago so thought nothing more about it. Also the ad mentioned nothing about if you kept the sample you had to pay the full price which was almost $100 dollars. So I get a call today from a very high powered collector and said I had to pay right now today and she would discount the price to $40 which I did not want to do but didn't want to destroy my credit for the 40 so I paid it. I am so disappointed in this practice I guess from now on free is not free. So I want to complain so no one else falls into this trap and it would be nice to get my money back so much sure that won't happen. But you tell them word of mouth advertising is important to there business and I will tell everyone I know about these practices and the product did not work I would have sent it back if I would have read that somewhere in the ad.Desired Settlement: Your file number is [redacted]. This should help them find my complaint. I would like them to stop saying the samples are free as they are not you have to pay for them after 30 days of use or return the bottle. RIP OFF

Review: We called to cancel the product and wanted the automatic delivery ceased. Received cancellation number [redacted]. Returned product for reimburse to credit card. Put number they gave us to return product [redacted]. They are still charging my credit card and the phone number to call does not go thru.I have not received product since returning the last one but they continue to charge my card.Desired Settlement: Credit my card of $194.54 and stop the automatic billing to this card!!!!

Response:

They did reimburse our credit card soon after you contacted them.

Review: Ordered a "special" from this company last year. Thought I would only get it one time. Product kept coming and they were deducting the money $98.37 from my checking account. I called them about 6 weeks ago and asked that they refund my money (for three bottles of their product) and I would return the product to them. Was informed they would only accept the return of one bottle and when I called them with the tracking number they would refund $98.37. I requested they stop sending me their product and close my "account". Yesterday I received yet another bottle of their product and I called the toll free number and told them I did not want it and to return my money. I was informed I had to return the product and I told them I would not again pay for shipping something I did not want. The girl told me my account had not been closed as I had requested and I had to pay for shipping. I told her that was her company's problem and I wanted my money back. She would not let me speak to a supervisor and I told her she couldn't help me I wanted a supervisor to call me back because I was tired of being put on hold. That was this morning and so far no one has called me back. What can I do? I need help.Desired Settlement: I would like my money back and they can have their product if they will send me a return label.

Review: Newport Beach Cosmetics operating under the "Bellavani" name advertises their skin cream on Facebook. It offers a price of $4.99 but somewhere in the small, small print that I never saw was evidently something saying that if not returned they will bill you for $95!! In my opinion this is a scam and is deceptive trade practices.Desired Settlement: Remove the charge from my account. I still have the product and am glad to return the unused portion.

Review: I did a trial with Bellavani on June 25th, 2013. I have paid the products delivered to me and cancelled on Aug 2013. I had a confirmation # for the cancellation. Never received another package from them, now, on Oct. 06, 2014, I received a "Priority Message". They want new c/c information. Balance Due: $98.27. I tried to contact them over the phone, however, both ###-###-#### (from billing statement before) and ###-###-#### (from http://bellavani.com) did not work. I believe it is Scammer or they are out of business. ;-(Desired Settlement: I did not own them money. Please take off the charge of $98.27 and never contact me again. I have all the support documents ready to use if they are necessary.
