Review: I called for pickup service at the [redacted]that I have been using for over ten years. I explained that I was sending both shirts for laundry nd a leather belt for dry cleaning. The woman I spoke with acknowledged that I was sending the belt. After the order was delivered I noticed that the belt was not delivered. I inquired where the belt was. After a few minutes of searching I was told by the [redacted] that they never received the belt that I sent. However, I explained that my phone order was explicit about including a belt and if there was not a belt included I should have been contacted. It is clear that the belt was lost at some point after they picked up. No one at [redacted]will acknowledge responsibility and respond to my complaint re the lost blt valued at $110.00.Desired Settlement: I have been compensated in the past for lost or damaged garments with complimentary service in amount equal to replacement cost. I propose same in this situation.

Review: Belle Claire Cleaners advertises in their customer pamphlet Special Savings offers: 30% off dry cleaning for new customers (good for 3 months) and 20% off alterations for new customers (good for 3 months). As a new customer I brought in my five items for alteration (there was no need to dry clean them at this time) on Wednesday, Novembe** with the customer pamphlet I picked up a few days before. A young man assessed my items and gave me my total. At this time I also handed him the pamphlet to ensure I would get the discount. I chose to pay when I returned to pick up the items. On Monday, November ** I called Belle Claire to ask if my items could be delivered (which is also advertised in their pamphlet as "hassle-free Pick-Up and Delivery Service). The woman on the phone informed me that they have a delivery radius and that I can not pay for my items over the phone. On Tuesday, December * I returned to Belle Claire Cleaners to pick up my items. Their associate [redacted] located my items and proceeded to ring up my bill at the register. Before I handed him my card I showed him the customer pamphlet and asked if my bill had been discounted as per the 20% off alterations for new customers. [redacted] proceeded to inform me that my items do not qualify for the discount since they were the lowest possible alteration price for each item. I informed him that there was nothing on the pamphlet nor did the gentleman assisting me state this policy. I asked if he could kindly honor the promotion since I am a new customer and was unaware of the "policy". He said he would not since it is just something the staff assesses on their own and don't often tell the customers. I believe this is poor customer service and nor does he appreciate my business at this Cleaners. I would have appreciated a different customer service outcome.Desired Settlement: I would like for Belle Claire to do the following two things to resolve my complaint: 1) They should reissue their customer pamphlets with the appropriate policy information for the two Special Savings they offer new customers and 2) I would like to receive the 20% off of my $52 alterations bill that they charged me as a new customer. It would also be nice if he apologized for not explaining the policy beforehand.
