[redacted] on June 23rd at 7:23 PM with further information regarding this damaged wheel.  Upon returning to the office on Friday, June 24th 2016, we reached out to [redacted] via email to apologize and gather his account information so that we could look into this concern further to which [redacted] responded that he had already reached out to our CEO who was handling the concern.  Our Customer Service Director discussed with our CEO and reached out to [redacted] on Friday, June 23rd 2016 to discuss. Upon review of the photos supplied by [redacted], it was concluded that the damage to his wheels was not consistent with any of the equipment used to attempt to remove the damaged tire.  Our Customer Service Director shared his findings with [redacted] who stated that he was able to locate a replacement wheel for $219.  As a Customer Satisfaction gesture, our Customer Service Director has agreed to reimburse [redacted] the $219 for the replacement wheel and currently we are awaiting a copy of [redacted]’s receipt so that we can process a check.  Currently, we are awaiting a receipt for the replacement wheel from [redacted] once he purchases it.  As stated above, we will issue a check to [redacted] once the receipt is received. I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID 12518720, and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of why I am rejecting this response appear below:
After buying 4 new tires. I was having an issue with a tire leaking air. I took it back to get fixed. Then all the tires started loosing air a week later. So I went back again complaining about this problem of loosing air with new tires. After stating the problem and wanted to make an appointment. I was told I didn't need a appointment. The guy didn't like that I said the rims needed to be cleaned and put bead lock on them. I said I would be back to have it done. The guy followed me out the door to my truck. He was very uncooperative and aggressive. And yelling that I don't need an appointment. Ranting that cleaning would not take care of it. He said I needed new rims. Then I put more air in and left. Then I figured this joker must think I don't know anything about cars or tires. Beings he was very serious about me needing new rims.So, on the 8th of December I believe that is when I got a call from [redacted] from Belle Tire on Lapeer. Beings I was at work. I couldn't talk to him. I did try to call him when I got home. But he had already left for the day. I did call him on Saturday the 9th. I told him my complaint. HE then asked if I could come back to his store and try to make it right by me. I told him I would not return to his store. But that I would got to the North end Belle tire. That was on 12/09/17. He said he was sorry and would call up there and let them know I would be up there after work on Monday the 11th. When I showed up Monday. I talked to one guy at the counter. And was told I was already in the computer that I was showing up. Told the guy what had taken place. And he agreed with me that I didn't need new rims. I also stated that I was experiencing a lot vibration at higher speeds. When they got my truck done. I believe it was the manager came and talked to me about the findings. He said and it is stated on the receipt I was giving. Three of my rims were extremely corroded. The one tire they supposedly fixed. It had minor corrosion but it had a bad seal.After complaining about the vibration issues. It appears they used the wrong wheel weights cause there were some missing. All this is stated on the paperwork I received from them. I was told that is the reason for all the vibration I was experiencing.Now just to let you know. I work in the automotive field. I know for a fact and by experience. Aluminum rims have to be thoroughly cleaned to get and keep a good seal. With the comments made form the second shop. The first shop didn't clean a damn thing. When rims are not properly cleaned. There is no way to get a good seal.Now if I hadn't known a few things about tires and aluminum rims. I would of been conned into buying new rims I didn't need. I don't believe that is good business. Treating people like they are stupid and not knowing.I really think this is a terrible way to drum up sales.Regards,

To Whom It May Concern, We have reviewed Mr. [redacted]’s complaint and concern regarding his Mastercraft tires purchased and installed at our Port Huron location.  We are disappointed to hear of the on-going issues that Mr. [redacted] has and apologize for any inconvenience.  Upon review of Mr....

[redacted]’s history in our system, we show that the Mastercraft tires were purchased on September 18th of 2017.  We show that Mr. [redacted] has returned once in October to have an issue with his right rear tire addressed but unfortunately do not have any further records showing return visits nor has our Corporate Customer Service Team received any communication regarding an issue with the tires.  I have created an incident report in our system with Mr. [redacted]’s complaint & request that I will share with the Manager of our Port Huron location so that he may contact Mr. [redacted] directly to work to resolve the on-going issues that he is experiencing.  We look forward to working towards an amicable resolution with Mr. [redacted]. This belle tire location likes to try to replace parts that do not need to be. I was told my inner tie rod was bad and gave me an estimate. I received a second opinion and there was nothing wrong with this part. I don't trust this business at all. I have heard from otthers that they had parts replaced that didn't need be. If you take your vehicle to this location, I HIGH.Y advise to get a second opinion from another source.

To Whom It May Concern, We have reviewed Mr. [redacted]’s response as well as his most recent visit to our Fort Gratiot, MI location on December 11th of 2017 where this issue was corrected. The District Manager for our Port Huron location is aware of this matter and will speak with our store team to address.  We apologize for the on-going issues that Mr. [redacted] has experienced and are glad that our Fort Gratiot location could correct the problem. We have already attempted to resolve this concern with no luck. [redacted] had suspension work we recommended done elsewhere and never had the vehicle Aligned causing the premature wear.

was not acceptable. She was demanding 50% off and stated she would see us in court.
At this point all offers were off the table.
