***PLEASE READ UNTIL THE END***People please do not waste your money with this kind of practice, instead of paying all the money that they are asking just give donation to those animal associations that whatever they do they do it in the name of love for animals I really don't know how to begin to express my disappointment with this Animal Hospital ? it really breaks my heart I usually don’t like to give bad reviews, since we are all different and sometimes we expect too much service from businesses so even if I have a bad experience I never ever done a bad review But for them, I think I have the responsibility to alert other people and to know what to expect Well I went the first time to DrH [redacted] because a friend refers them to me saying that they are good and they usually are fair with the prices and do not take advantage So I call them and ask them how much was the wellness visit and they told me that was $75, I asked them what that included and they said blood test, exam, dental exam and etcthey also have advertised to their site So I take my dog to them, loved the doctor very charming with my dog and I really liked her felt very comfortable with the Doctor felt the love that she has for animals, but I think this is all a show…… totally a show to take advantage From the visit the doctor said right away that my dog was hypothyroidism that blood tests needed to be done and bla bla bla They did blood work, urine tests, the bill came into more than $300…from $that they said on the phone The doctor said to call the practice the next day to see the blood test resultsWell they said that the thyroids level is low but to be 100% sure my dog needed to have done another blood test!!!! And how much is this blood test??? $260……$just to confirm that my dog has hypothyroidismAnd I got mad!!!!! I got upset because if my dog had done few days before the blood test why…I need to know the reasons why they need to perform another blood test and the price was $260!!!!.Well they said that we could start the pills without this blood test… I agreed to start the pills but the second week that my dog was on the pills she was not eatingWell I call the doctor and told me to bring my dog for a visit.More blood work was done……another urine test was done, since the doctor said that it might be an infection and bla bla blab…sold me a bunch of medication, antibiotics…anti-acid because my dog was not eating……and the bill came to $600, and of course we pay…because we give our heart for our pets….and they know this……They exactly know and they take advantage.So I call the next day I speak with the doctor and they said that the urine test was fine so I needed to stop the antibiotic, which they sold me two packs of it……Need to stop all medicationsA day before they sold me all of that…the next day they say to stop!!!!!!I stopped all medication and my dog seamed to start eating well but after one week she is having brown discharges from her vulva…heavy discharges So I call the doctor again…DrH [redacted] was busy was waiting the phone call from another one, but since the discharges were heavy I called them and said that I was going, on the phone they told me I couldn’t go since I had no appointment, I said on the phone that was an emergency, that is a hospital so I could go……They said that my emergency would cost $160……they just care about the money……On their site they have advertise that they have: Knowledge…… Compassion…Integrity????Knowledge??? That to diagnose something they have to do millions of tests and you pay!!!!! To be 100% sure they need to perform this other test….and we have to do xrays???? Bull ***!!!!Compassion????? Really? Compassion??? That the first thing they say is the price that we have to pay for an emergency that nothing was done to my dog????? Integrity???? I don’t think so!!! You don’t even know what integrity means???For an emergency that nothing was done no blood work…Nothing…once I showed the discharge that my dog had they said that it might be Pyometra but to be 100% sure I needed to pay $1,because they needed to do blood tests….x-rays…………You guys are bunch of thieves Shame on you all…… I was there crying they were showing fake compassion, I was trying to figure out how and where I was supposed to take the money, I was crying like a baby……I asked them ok can I know how much it will cost all of this surgery????? Well they gave me a bill of $5,ahahahahah I really didn’t know if I had to cry or laugh…… five thousand dollarsOne thing the doctor said that my dog needed help right away and I could go to the [redacted] and other non-profit organization Which I did, I went to one of the trailers that [redacted] have around NYC we went the one in Brooklyn and even if they were doing only the Spay surgery and not the Pyometra, ones they saw us and my dog desperate, they did for $125…and they did the surgery…… they gave vaccines and they gave me medication after the surgery since it was a complicated one…the doctor out of love for my dog did all this.Shame on you……I understand that is a business what you have there, but try not to be such a crook and try not to take advantage of people in need Shame on you……God exists and I know all of you will have your part!!!!!
