Complaint: [redacted]I am rejecting this response because:
After further investigation from BMW NW, they did determine that the advise given to us by management of the company in regards to the battery operation was inaccurate. The low battery light that we wew assured would be okay after further driving, was the root issue as to why the transmission operation failed. Furthermore the DTML pump that the check engine came on for has nothing to do with the driving of the vehicle, so me driving the vehicle to OR has nothing to do with Bellevue auto house having their technicians turning the light off temporarily. From the way the owner has spoken to the both of us directly, obviously we are going to get no resolve from this. Contacted again today to see when our licensing would be completed and was told they have 45 days so it would be around then. Just the most unprofessional orginaztion. Between the diagnostics and repairs needed I am out 900 dollars less than a month after purchase. Now my license plates are being held hostage when this company knew I was leaving the state. This is UNACCEPTABLE. I Pulled off their lot and couldn't even use my wipers in a rain storm in the pacific nw. I had to purchase 100 wipers bringing the grand total to 1000. Under Washington state law RCW 62A.2-314, you must correct this issue or we will be pursuing  litigation for the above listed amount. Also please release my licensing for this vehicle as I paid you in CASH exactly how you requested it in a timely manner. I find this continued lack of customer service very disturbing of a company that sells high end vehicles.  I would no longer consider this dealership reputable. Would NEVER allow a friend of enemy even to purchase from this lying establishment. This place is the trash can of Bellevue and everyone I know will hear about this. 

This vehicle was purchased by the complaining party on 01/20/2017 and was delivered on 01/21/2017. At the time of the sale, the buyer was offered a service contract (extended warranty)  which was declined by the buyer. (form attached)
After purchase, the customer drove the car to Portland, OR...

and back to the Seattle area with no issues. If there were any pre-existing issued with the vehicle that was significant at the time of sale the car would not have mechanically been able to make this long of a trip. Customer's claim that he was offered 90 days to think about an extended warranty is false, the ability to buy a service contract after the sale. Service contracts on used cars are sold at the time of sale before delivery. This vehicle was sold AS IS with NO WARRANTY, (forms attached).  The customer has threatened our Dealership, written bad reviews. He also believes there is a cooling off period in WA State, which there is not. He also believes Lemon Law covers used cars which is incorrect. He clearly signed a copy of the carfax that shows an open recall on the vehicle which can be fixed for free at any BMW dealership. We have more forms (evidence) signed by customer to provide to but your system does not allow us to load more than four. Please give us a fax # to fax the rest of our documents to.
