Review: So incredibly disappointed by the nail salon I visited on 6/10/13. Bellezza Nails in Roseville has lost my business, my family will not return, and I will tell everyone I know about this experience forever. My appointment was at 11 am. They gave me a person on her third day at the job. While sitting for the pedicure, I was chatting with the woman next to me and she had gotten gel polish and it lasted since April 13. I asked the owner of the salon how much more it was for gel and he said $5. That sounded good to me. She finished the toes and we went to do the fingers. She wound up cutting my cuticle so close that she made my thumb bleed. I stopped the manicure right away because it wouldn't stop bleeding. The owner, [redacted], had no sympathy and just stated that she did a great job and gave me a band aid. Then he proceeded to tell me that the gel pedicure is $13 more than the regular pedicure. AND he charged me $8 for her great job of "cleaning" up my nails. Her last step of the pedicure was to apply more OIL NOT LOTION such that as you can see from the photo my feet are still shiny with oil and are so slippery I have to wash them so I don't slip in my house. I have pointed nails now that I will have to file and paint myself. Feet that are still rough and slippery that I have too fix and am out the money he charged me. I went back after 4pm because 7 of my 10 fingers have cuts on the tips and hurt to touch things. [redacted]' response was that she did nothing wrong and that it is my fault because I have thin skin. Additionally, when I said to him that I would not return he became belligerent with me and yelled at ME. I didn't ask for a refund at the time, nor did I make much fuss because I had my father with me (who also got a pedicure) and wanted to save him from a scene. This is horrible customer service. I've never been to a place that made a mistake and then blamed the customer.

I was charged a total of $25 for the pedicure + $13 to make it gel and then $8 for the "clean up" job she did on my hands. I took photos and you will see that her "clean up" job caused sores on all but three of my fingers. I would like my money back due to their horrible customer service, and the fact that I had to redo my own nails after they charged me for it. Total refund requested is $46. Additionally, I want an apology from the owner, [redacted], for his behavior and rude remarks to me.

Please review my original complaint again. In my original complaint I noted:

I gave them the chance to make it right within hours of their horrible customer service.

I do not wish to put myself into a potentially dangerous position with this man. I do not know him personally, though his behavior at his nail salon was scary enough. The mean things he yelled at me are enough that I do not wish to have any further contact with [redacted] ever again.
