The two senile people have been long term members with no incidences in the years they’ve belonged here. Regarding the incident on October 5 the member was trying to speak with [redacted] to see why she asked her client, whom she cares for, to move out of the swim lane she was in. According to her...

report, she merely touched [redacted] on the shoulder to get her attention. [redacted] became instantly defensive and verbally aggressive. One of our staff on deck tried to deescalate the situation, only to become part of the verbal assault and was cursed at. [redacted] continued to say that seniors are “senile” and have “dementia” and “belong in a hospital”. The other altercation that [redacted] speaks of is with a gentleman that has some mobility issues and is afraid of her from a previous altercation in the pool. He felt that she was swimming at him on purpose and waved the kick board to protect himself. This was witnessed by the person she refers to and he invited her into his lane to swim. The witness didn’t see everything that transpired but was gracious enough to invite her into his lane to deescalate the situation. She was very upset and I spoke to her after the incident, I requested that she stay out of the pool when this other member was in the pool because it was obvious they couldn’t get along. I had the same conversation with the other person and told him that if he threatened physically again, he would be asked to leave. He has been very remorseful over the incident and has apologized for the way he responded. We do not condone physical violence. These are not the only altercations that [redacted] has had in the pool. She has been in verbal altercations with 2 different aquatics directors, 5 staff people and 3 other members outside of the pool, as well. We are not interested in having her back as a member, there is no need to address a financial reimbursement. I believe that she would be better served elsewhere. Thank you, Bo Wilde Membership Director/Manager
