Review: Extremely rude sales people and manager, and they failed to disclose their antiquated return policy when placing our order.

I wish I had read all the other poor Baby Bellini reviews before purchasing a changing table from them...! They told me the sliding changing table was out of stock but that they would ship it to me as soon as it was available (I'd be first on the list). While asking a few normal clarifying questions the woman on the phone seemed exasperated with everything and was just brash and rude. I should've cancelled the order then but thought maybe this was a bad day for her/ a one-off bad experience. She said she couldn't give me an exact day but that it should be available beginning of November and that they'd give me a call as soon as it was in. I paid in full (this is early-mid September). I asked for the receipt to be emailed to me and she said she couldn't do that but would mail me a hard copy. This should've been another clue- what type of systems do they have in place??

Fast forward to mid-November and I hadn't received a call or update on the status of my paid-in-full changing table so I gave the store a ring. I spoke with an older woman who was VERY short, rude and obnoxious (again). I asked her if the changing table was available yet and she said yes. I asked why I hadn't received a call and she said I don't know, I didn't take the order. Wow- customer service at its finest!! She said you can come in and pick it up tomorrow. Then she said let me take your number down just in case it doesn't come in... I said, "Wait, you just told me it'd be ready tomorrow...? I'm coming from [redacted] so can you give me a definitive time??" Long story kinda short- I waited a day to go out and pick it up (she did call to confirm it was in).

After we picked it up and got back to our apartment we found it was much larger than we expected and took up way too much room. I went to the Bellini site to check out the return process and saw we had 7 days from pickup to return. I immediately called [redacted] at Bellini and she informed me (again, a very curt person) that I had to work with the store bc each location runs differently and have different policies. I said ok but I was not informed about any return policy or final sale policy's when I purchased the product. She said, Again, you need to call the store" I could just tell this was not going to be fun.

I decided to [redacted] them and read some reviews (too late, I know!!) I decided to have my husband call them. The lady he spoke with was again rude and said she'd have to have the manager call him back. So [redacted] called and told my husband he would not accept the return (within 3 days of picking it up from their store!). We are now disputing this with our credit card company. What a totally [redacted], frustrating experience from start to finish!! Bellini you should be ashamed of the way you handle your business! Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere for your baby furniture. So many choices out there, with better quality and waaaaay better customer service.Desired Settlement: I want a full credit back to my credit card for the merchandise I want to return. not a store credit.

Review: We had previously bought a bed for our daughter awhile ago along with a custom comforter, and some new bedding for our crib. We went back to the store to look for another bed and the the salesperson we previously used greeted us. She said that she just got in a brand new bed style and actually bought it for her grandaughter. When she took us to see it, it was the same exact one we bought previously! When we told her ours was a little different she said that was impossible. She then figured out that they sent us a similar but mix matched headboard and footboard. The company's [redacted] refuses to help us and wants to charge us for another headboard.

This is the 3rd major probelm to occur with our 1st order. The 1st was that their delivery people left our house a complete mess and I had to pick up boxes and garbage that was left on my driveway. Most of it blew onto my neighbor's yard. The other problem was with the crib bedding. This store agreed to meet a online price but when we got the merchanidse it was missing a piece. The store said they never agreed to give us that other part and even after my wife showed them the online one did include the msising piece they still wouldn't honor the price. I had to shell out extra money just to get bumpers for my brand new new born. This store misrepresents what they are selling and doesn't fix problems that are clearly their error.Desired Settlement: I simply want the correct headboard and will give back the incorrect one. That's it. They want to charge me $350 for the new one.
