Review: Initially, we were under the impression that Kevin Bellis was a representative of [redacted], [redacted]., in [redacted], PA. We found out that he was an independent contractor, who agreed to be paid $800, to install kitchen cabinets on 4/11/13. The agreement was that Mr. Bellis would be paid $400 at the start of the day and the remaining $400 at the completion of the job. He was paid $400 at the start of the day.
He was instructed to install a total of 13 cabinets. After 8 hours he installed 2 cabinets. After arriving to the site, he was asking questions specific to the cabinet manufacturer. We were alarmed because we were under the assumption that he was knowledgeable about the kitchen cabinet manufacturer he was assigned to install. After suggesting to him that he should call [redacted] directly regarding the cabinets he told us to call. He asked for additional money for materials outside of the $800 agreed, which we refused to pay.
He communicated false information to [redacted] and created an uncomfortable working environment. The uncomfortable comments included him asking about the principal's age also referencing if the other principal was her daughter. After telling him not to ask a woman’s age he continued to guess her age and was not focused on the job at hand.
He was complaining about the location of an electrical outlet, which we said we would take care of. He refused to continue installing the cabinets until the outlet was moved. We went to [redacted] to clear the confusion about Mr. Bellis, upon returning to the job site we found the cabinets in the same location uninstalled (which we have pictures as proof). He abandoned the job and when we called him to find out what happened and why he could not complete as much work as possible we were told he would not come back unless we paid him another $250.
Mr. Bellis left the job site with 85% of the job instructed to him incomplete and did not wait for our team to return to the job site before leaving. He found our client’s phone number and called them directly and said things that were false and untrue about the job site and the people at [redacted]. At this present time, based on the work performed we feel he should only be paid $275.00 for the 2 cabinets including miscellaneous items he installed. Because he did not complete the job we stopped our initial check of $400. We have made an attempt to pay him $275 for the work completed by him. Upon doing so, we received written threats if we do not pay him $650 for the job. Because he abandoned the job we found others to complete the job.Desired Settlement: We would like the Revdex.com to be an intermediator and a voice of reason on our behalf. We would like to settle an agreement with him for the work that was completed. We would like him to accept our payment of $275 and stop harassing our staff.

Hi [redacted]
Mr. Bellis has contacted one of our workers on Friday, June 7, 2013 and has shown defamation of character against our company.
We have attempted to contact Mr. Bellis on Saturday, June 8, 2013 to settle the matter and confirm that he did receive our payment, however he has not cooperated.
Again, we would like the Revdex.com to be an intermediator and a voice of reason on our behalf and communicate to him that our company has mailed him a check in April for the work that he completed.
Regards,
