On Jan we had brought in *** *** vehicle to complete a short block replacementOnce the short block was replaced, the vehicle had been road tested, returned back to the shop for final inspection and then sent to wash bay for final clean upDuring the final inspection there
were no leaks noted, and also no fluid left on garage floor, washbay, or parking lot when parkedWas called I believe the next day from *** *** explaining her situationShe was advised to return to the dealer for inspectionOnce the car had arrived we had diagnosed the leak from transmission lines under the vehicleThe customer was then quoted the repair, accepted and repairs went forwardOnce the car was completed *** *** had voiced that she didn’t believe proper procedures had taken placeI had reassured her that all engine replacements are road tested and reinspected, however *** *** had said she would have to agree to disagree
Please note these repairs were completely separate issues located at different areas of the vehicleAlthough unfortunate the timing of these issues these repairs are not related to one another

Our Shop Foreman was the technician who completed both the repairs on this vehicle. He is an incredible technician who stands by his work and performs all his tasks with the utmost professionalism. He is experienced and is a top mechanic with Subaru Canada. I am 100% confident that the vehicle was road tested upon completion.
While very unfortunate of the timing of the repairs, specifically the second one with the belt, the two are completely separate items which would not be affected by the previous repairs.
As previously mentioned there was no sign of any fluid in and around our shop floor or on the parking lot where the vehicle was parked.
With all this said in an effort to make the client happy I would be willing to reimburse 50% of the invoice.
