Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:
Once again I have no finished product. I have no approved designs. So therefor if there is no designs there is no website and no product. I have breen losing in excess of a potential $300 to $500 a day since the day bellport web solutions claimed to have finished my designs and website. This is not good business. And it doesnt look good for bellport web solutions. Future consumers need to know about this company.

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:
I hired [redacted] because I liked the designs I saw on his Instagram page.  He is no longer able to produce that type of
designs because that designer walked out on him, which he failed to notify me
until three days later after his designer left.
[redacted] states
that “this is not a physical item that can be returned”.  So with that statement coming from him, does
he just walk away with our hard earned money?
Is this how he conducts his business?  I take your money and if you’re not satisfied with
what I provide, than too bad because I already worked hours and hours.  If [redacted] can consciously take money from
his clients and not provide anything in return, than that just shows you his
true character.  I was patient with [redacted].  As you can see in our conversations, he constantly apologized.  He stated in his last email to me dated
February *, 2014 that “all sales are final.”
My perspective of a “sale” usually involves payment in exchange for an item,
service or merchandise.  I paid him $1,550.00
on January **, 2014, but at this very moment, I have no designs, I have no
logos and I have no completed website, there is a website but it is not
complete because I am still awaiting my designs and logos from [redacted] to
put on our website.  [redacted] provided me
with unprofessional designs and expects me to accept whatever he feels is
satisfactory to him.  He also brings up
the logos and designs, but as I stated in my complaint, those designs were
transparent and pixelated.  Also how can
I accept his design when he illegally used the letter “U” from the University
of Miami Hurricane’s logo.  When someone
hires you for service, you do your best to provide, whether its hours of work
and consultation between you and your client, the goal is to meet and satisfy
your client’s needs.  He constantly
repeats that he worked hours and hours, like he is complaining.  And again, we did not hire him on an hourly
basis.  As you can see from our
conversation, I was never demanding with him, I was patient, even with his lack
of communication with me.  I gave him
numerous opportunities to meet my needs but he continued to fail.  Even when he told me that his designer left
him, he ensured me that he could produce better designs.
Again, [redacted] makes false statements in his response; he stated that I said, “we would
be hearing from his lawyer”.  I never
said that, as you can see from my email to him dated February *, 2014, I said,
“I’m having someone of legal status to address you today”, in which I meant Revdex.com
and/or Office of Consumer Protection but at no time did I say “lawyer”.  He also stated that he told me that they do not
do Chinese graphics, which is, another false statement made by [redacted].  At no time, did he tell me that.  I have all the conversations with [redacted]
via email and text, which I can provide to you, and at no time did he tell me
that he does not do Chinese graphics.  Another
false statement [redacted] made, which I mentioned in my complaint, was that he
had contact with me on a daily basis, which is false.  I bring this up again because [redacted]
continues to make false statements, which again shows his true character.  He states that I was short fused, which means
“likely to lose one’s temper, but at no time did I lose my temper.  I was frustrated when I realized that he is
not professional and his lack of knowledge in designing logos.  His response to me when I stated that I was
going to have someone of legal status address him was “looking forward to it,
thanks.”  That just shows his character
of immaturity, he was bold to make that statement because he did not care or
tried to contact me to resolve this matter in a mature and amicable way.
And again I
have no completed website, logos and designs.
All I want is this to be resolved.
Thank you.

Review: I hired [redacted] of Bellport Web Solutions to do an E-Commerce Website Design and to design five shirt designs. I hired [redacted] because I was impressed with the pictures that were on his Instagram page. On January **, 2014, we paid him $1,550.00 via PayPal for his services.[redacted] told me that he could make a better logo than the one I had so I let him work with what he thought would be suitable. He did not take into consideration that it was a Chinese theme which I informed him it was before he started. His work was far from it. One example of his lack of knowledge and unprofessionalism is that, I gave him an example of a letter U to be used in the design, which was the U for the University of Miami Hurricanes, I gave it to him just as an example but in return, he used it for the design which is illegal because it is a registered trademark. He made numerous claims that he could do this but failed countless times. He failed to stay in touch with me on a daily basis, as he claims he did in his letter to me dated February *, 2013. There was a gap in our conversation from January **, 2014 and January **, 2014. He also failed to let me know that his designer walked out on him, he only informed me several days after he left. I repeatedly asked him for status. He never started on my logo when he said he would start. I believe it was two weeks from the time my wife and I paid him that he started working on the designs. He claims that my website is done but how can it be done when I have no logos or shirt designs from him? He is aware that I am awaiting the logos and shirt designs from him, so I could use the designs to make t-shirts and have people model them here in Hawaii and send the pictures to him to put on our website so how is it done when we are still waiting for our designs from him. We werent able to see two pictures that he sent via email because we werent able to open the files that he sent to us. We were able to open two of the files that he did send but tDesired Settlement: I want a refund. As of today, I haven't received any designs and my website is incomplete.

Business

Response:

As previously discussed with the client [redacted] aka [redacted] of DU2 APPAREL, we would provide a website, a logo, and 5 t-shirt designs. These are all digital services. With that being said work begins once the items are purchased. This is not a physical item that can be returned. Is claims are down right insulting. What he wanted was completely different from what we discussed on day 1. To simply change your mind through our creative and designing process, should result in Bellport Web Solutions charging him for extra work. We did not charge him for extra work, we went above and beyond to accommodate [redacted].

From day 1 we have provided [redacted] with consultation services. We gave him advice on what we think would be the best approach for his company, this alone is worth the amount of the package he purchased. We also informed him that we do not do Chinese graphics and we made it well known before he made a purchase that we can't do that. We informed [redacted] that we can make something very nice for him with our own style. He agreed and proceeded to pay the invoice. It clearly states in the invoice that only 1 logo, 1 website design, and 5 t-shirt designs will be made and that all sales are final, again we provide digital work.

We provided [redacted] with 16 logos to choose from when you told him we would only provide 1. He changed his mind throughout the process and said that instead of doing your own style, please do something more Chinese. In order to accommodate [redacted], we gave it our best shot and provided him with additional designs. He then sent us over pictures of work that he liked from other people mid way through our design process, this information should of been provided before the design process started, we gave [redacted] the opportunity to provide that.

We also created a website that was completely before his request for a refund. The site was completely built, just pending the product and pictures to add to the website. Again, this is digital work and was already completely. The invoice terms and conditions clearly stated all sales were final. Along the way, we sent [redacted] screen shots of how the website was looking.

[redacted] became short fused and out of no where, requested refunds via e-mail and Paypal. He threatened legal action because we informed him all sales were final. We again went above and said we will do what it takes to make things work for you. He said we would be hearing from his lawyer.

Please see attached of some samples of work we provided.
