I [redacted] [redacted] thank you Bellum Manor for answering my complaintI took your advice and educated myself not only on policy but the law as well and what I discovered was that the law is not discriminatory and applies equally to all people educated or not According to your own words and policy the vehicle will be towed after a hr notice is placed on the vehicle This is what makes my complaint valid and ensures that the law will rule in my favorOn December the 30th a sticker was placed on my car at 12pm and my car was at the tow yard by 5:22pm the very same dayIf the sticker was placed at 12pm and the tow yard is way on the other side of town and the car was checked in by 5:pm how much time did you give me to move the vehicle? I was not blocking anything and this was no emergency The law is clear and so is your policy that states that after a sticker is placed on a vehicle you have to give the owner hours the police even do this it’s the law Are you saying that the law and your very own policy doesn’t apply to meI have names and numbers of other tenants who was verbally informed and their vehicle was not towedEqual treatment have to apply across the board it might not matter to you but the law is clearIn your statement you stated that I was given fair notice to come to the office please provide a signed copy of that notice as well as the list that you stated that my car was placed on and location of placement in the officeI do believe that this could be an 8th amendment violation as well cruel and unusual punishment the unnecessary infliction of pain Had you obeyed the law and followed your own policy we would not be having this conversationThe fact remains that you did not give me the 24hrs required by law and your very own policy is why i'm asking for my $dollars for the amount it cost me to get my car that wouldn’t of been there in the first placeThank you [redacted] ***

I   [redacted] thank you Bellum Manor for answering my complaint. I took your advice and educated myself not only on policy but the law as well and what I discovered was that the law is not discriminatory and applies equally to all people  educated or not.  According to your own words and policy the vehicle will be towed after a 24 hr notice is placed on the vehicle.  This is what makes my complaint valid and ensures that the law will rule in my favor. On December the 30th a sticker was placed  on my car at 12pm and my car was at the tow yard by 5:22pm the very same day. If the sticker was placed at 12pm and the tow yard is way on the other side of town and the car was checked in by 5:22 pm how much time did you give me to move the vehicle?  I was not blocking  anything and this was no emergency.   The law is clear and so is your policy that states that after a sticker is placed  on a vehicle you have to give the owner 24 hours the police even do this it’s the law.  Are you saying that the law and your very own policy doesn’t apply to me. I have names and numbers of other tenants who was verbally informed and their vehicle was not towed. Equal treatment have to apply across the board it might not matter to you but the law is clear. In your statement you stated that I was given fair notice to come to the office please provide a signed copy of that notice as well as the list  that you stated that my car was placed on and location of placement in  the office. I do believe that this could be an 8th amendment violation as well cruel and unusual punishment the unnecessary infliction of pain.  Had you obeyed the law and followed your own policy we would not be having this conversation. The fact remains that you did not give me the 24hrs required by law and your very own policy is why i'm asking for my $778.00 dollars for the amount it cost me to get my car that wouldn’t of been there in the first place. Thank you [redacted]

To whom it may concern,In regards to Ms. [redacted]'s complaint we have provided a response. Thank you for your time. In Ms. [redacted]'s claim, she states that the company's Towing Policy was not included nor signed in her rental agreement. Per her signed lease agreement that is deemed untrue. Attached...

is a copy of Ms. [redacted]s signed lease agreement. Please note paragraph 10 as I have also copy and pasted the section where in detail it explains the Towing Policy as well as the repercussions for violating said Towing Policies.Vehicles.Management may assign parking spaces or areas for Resident and his/her guests or invitees. Management may also, at its election,(A) designate parking areas, (B) designate whether trailers, boats, or RVs/campers may be parked within the bounds of the community, and/or (C) tow (at vehicle owner's expense) from the community any inoperable, abandoned, or unauthorized vehicles after a twenty-four (24) hour notice is posted upon the vehicle. This twenty-four (24) hour notice does not apply to (ami therefore Management may immediately and without warning tow) vehicles parked in a space assigned to another resident, parked in disabled parking or fire lanes, parked in a marked no-parking area, or parked in a way that impedes traffic or trash collection easements. If Management pays the towing expense for the vehicle of Resident or Residents' guest or invitee, such expense shall be deemed as additional rent owed by Resident to Management and shall be due and
payable immediately to Management.Vehicles must be parked nose-in and only in delineated parking spots and shall never be parked on sidewalks, Landscaped or un-Landscaped areas,or in any other improper or illegal manner. All vehicles must display current and legal registration. Resident is further responsible for any and all damage caused by Resident's vehicle or the vehicle of Resident's guest or invitee to the asphalt, concrete, steel, or wood located in the parking areas.-PER THE BELLUM MANOR LEASE AGREEMENTMs. [redacted] seems to be under the impression that there was no list in the officefor everyone  to see- In all actuality there  was a list provided  in the office with the make, models,  and plate numbers  of all the vehicles  schedule  to be towed. Ms. [redacted] was given fair notice to come to the office speak with the office staff in regard to her vehicle, that was her opportunity as well as her decision to not come into the office to avoid the towing  of her vehicle.  Ms. [redacted] violated  her signed lease agreement. Her vehicle was parked on PRIVATE PROPERTY with expired tags and registration. Her futile attempt  at an argument holds no ground, claiming we do not deal with other tenant issues. We are discussing [redacted] and her situation only.During many of our frequent discussions with Ms. [redacted], we made it very clear that there would be no reimbursements of any monies. The fact that her vehicles did not have any legal registration is her responsibility and her responsibility alone.  Ms [redacted]s' vehicle was at risk of being towed anywhere, even by the police for expired tags and registration.I would highly recommend that Ms. [redacted] sit down to thoroughly read the copies that were provided to her of her lease and further educate herself. The facts remain the facts [redacted] had multiple vehicles park on PRIVATE PROPERTY that were not in accordance with her signed lease agreement. Please update this complaint on our rating accordingly.
