Review: I placed a catering order from Belmont Bar-B-Q after looking at the company's website. They listed the price of their pork BBQ at $10.25/pound. I ordered 15 lbs, then a few days later, called the business to change my order to 20lbs. At no point did I enter the store and at no point did any employee tell me about the price increase. I picked up my BBQ on Saturday, 5/30/15, and after leaving, I saw on my receipt that they charged me at a rate of $13/lb. I went back the follow business day to ask to be credited the difference. I and was told that they increased their prices months ago, but have not updated the website. The sales associate told me the owner was aware that the website advertised incorrect prices. I asked to speak to the owner, who wasn't in the store. He never returned my call. Then I sent him a message on Facebook. Here is part of what the owner says:"I am sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused you but I will not be refunding the $55.00 to you, as I along with my staff have made every effort to post accurate prices thru out my restaurant and to tell our patrons as well. As I said before sometimes situations of this nature occur and although I do in fact see your side, I hope you can see mine as well. We at Belmont BBQ do our best to keep everyone happy yet sometimes as in this case we have to agree to disagree.Again I'm sorry the website is not up to date but as I stated previously I am currently working on that issue."He admits that they advertised incorrect prices, but refuses to give me the $55 between what I paid and what I should have paid based on their website pricing. I checked today, and it appears they corrected their website this past weekend. I'm glad no one else will have to deal with this price difference, but I still feel as if I was overcharged because the advertised price was $10.25/lb and I was charged $13/lb.Desired Settlement: I would like to be refunded the $55.
