I stand by the information I originally sent on this complaint. I did ask that someone come out and look at my lawn because it was in a state of needing something more done than what they were doing. I have floratam st Augustine grass and I believed they were applying chemicals that shouldn't be used on floratam. I was at Myrtle Beach SC in September when someone came out and talked with my wife. He said he was there to make application and she asked him iif there would be a charge and according to my wife he said "NO"

Thank you for the notice. Mr. [redacted] started service with us on 03/05/2015 and sent an email to cancel service 08/13/15. At the time of this email, Mr. [redacted] was in arrears $40.00, for the month of August 2015. He received a notice that the payment was due based on services received. On 09/11/15,...

Mr. [redacted] sent an email requesting explanation of the balance due and requesting a lawn analysis and stated "My lawn looks like hell. I wish you would send one of your inspectors out to look at it and give me an analysis. If they think they can do something with it I will consider using your service again. But everything they did so far for my lawn did nothing for the appearance or the condition of it.I think Trads owes me a visit [redacted]A copy of this email is attached. As a result of the 9/11/15 email, the Lawn Lead called Mr. [redacted], checked his lawn 09/11/15, and set an appointment to meet Mr [redacted] on 09/18/15. The Lawn Lead discussed treatments for sod worms and disease to help the lawn. Mr. [redacted] agreed to go forward and Trad's continued to treat the lawn as agreed. On 1/11/16, Mr. [redacted] called and spoke to our Lawn Lead and stated he cancelled 08/02/15 and did not agree to continue service and claimed the lawn was not treated 09/15/15 and 09/25/15, as agreed and as documented. There is no question that the applications were made to the lawn and were done with Mr. [redacted]'s consent.  According to our service agreement, Trad's service can be cancelled at any time with a 30 day written notice and payment through services received. The $40.00 balance due was for services received through the original email request of 08/13/15, and this was explained to Mr. [redacted]. The total due for services received through September 2015 is $120.00. I would suggest that we both compromise and split the balance due in half, meaning Trad's will write off $60.00 and Mr. [redacted] will pay $60.00 to settle this account.  Very sincerely, Trad's Pest Control

Dear Revdex.com,Thank you for the letter. Please know we were very sorry to lose the [redacted] as customers. I have attached a flyer from UF-IFAS regarding Torpedo Grass and its treatment. You will note that for St. Augustine grass, there is no pre-emergent and no post-emergent control for this weed. For...

this reason, torpedo grass is expressly excluded from our agreement, as is standard in our industry. There is nothing Trad's could have done to prevent the torpedo grass, there is nothing Trads could have done to get rid of the torpedo grass. [redacted] have a lovely home that rests on a retention pond. It is very common for homes on retention ponds to have torpedo grass because it often grows in ponds. Despite the fact that Trad's has no responsibility for the torpedo grass, we offered to replace some sod for them at our cost. We did this because they have been long term customers. We offered to replace their sod at .75 cents per square foot, which is what it costs Trad's to replace sod. Our normal charge to replace sod is $1.50 per square foot. The [redacted] felt we should replace the sod a below our cost and refused the offer we made.In this situation, there is nothing more we can do for the customer. We made a good faith offer to assist a long standing customer, despite the fact that torpedo grass is expressly excluded from our agreement.  Sincerely,Trad's Pest Control
