[To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, you must give us a reason why you are rejecting the response. If no reason is received your complaint will be closed Administratively Resolved] Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: One of the reasons I bought this vehicle is because of it having a new 7/2015 inspection. which lead me to believe it was LEGAL for the road, However that was not the case. I had only 40 miles on the vehicle when the check engine light came on, and during an afternoon rain I found that I also had no defroster. I took it to [redacted] to have this looked at. At the time I was told there were 3 active recalls on the vehicle of which I had [redacted] fix them (FREE). When the mechanic put it on the lift to do the recalls he discovered the following items;1. The throttle cable was broken and wire tied together.2. Both the left and right lower control arm bushings were worn and needed replaced, (so it would need a front end alignment)3. Right front sway bar end was worn out4. Left front ABS tone ring was broken and resting on the frame,( he said that if this would have moved the wheel would stop moving and we could have been killed if we were at a high rate of speed as on the highway)5. The serpintine belt was cracked6. Both the left front and right rear wheels were missing 1 lug nut each.7. Front wipers were bad.8. Multiple exhaust leaks. These items are All part of the inspection process and they could not release the vehicle to me until they were fixed. They at that time advised me to call the State Police Vehicle Fraud Unit of which I did. Trooper Berstler then came down and inspected the vehicle and ordered the mechanic to remove Both the inspection and emission sticker considering they were false stickers.Trooper Berstler also found that the emission sticker wasn't for my *** vehicle it was for a ***!When the mechanic examined the exhaust there were GLOBS of putty both in front and behind the catalytic converters. When these were inspected further they were found to be hollow, and would have never passed inspection. We had to replace the exhaust and converters of which this car has 2 converters.Photos were taken of the defects before repairs were completed. The total bill for all the repairs was $3318.24 (and that was just to pass inspection). The inspection paper from [redacted] is attached. So I decline the offer of $500.00 from Below Blue Book LLC. Regards, [redacted] ***
