In reference to above ID#, the consumer did purchase a recliner on 10-5-15, and on 10-6-did call to cancel and was told not cancellableBelpre Furniture did hold this item for the consumer in good faithSee attached copy of the order, and circled is our return and refund policyWe can deliver the chair next time we are in that delivery area when the customer schedules it

Please find attached the before and after pictures of the loveseat We have put the loveseat back to factory specsOur guys were asked to take off their shoes, we can not, insurance will not allow this I spoke to the delivery men and they both assured me that there was "NO" mud on their shoes.We replaced both seat chaise's and re-stuffed both backs.Sincerely, [redacted] Vice President

This complaint is full of commentsSo we will respond to each commentFurniture delivered 12/6/2016, customer called 1/9/on a Monday, we go their way on Tuesdays and tried to set up an inspection the very next day, customer not available, so we tried for Tuesday, 1/17, customer not available so on the third Tuesday customer was available, 1/24/2017.We inspected the sofa in their house and took picturesI left the customer a message the next day and told them we would have to order parts and as soon as they came in we would schedule piand repair of the furnitureWe do our own repairs and would not send this back to the factory The next day Mrcalled us questioning what we are doing, we repeated it, order parts and repairThe warranty information was attached to the sofa on delivery.We couldn't tell them when we were picking up the sofa until the parts come in!!There is NO "run around" we are doing what the manufacture says to doWe have sold many of these models this year and have had NO problems

In regards to above ID#, we have replaced everything we think could be wrong with this loveseatWe have contacted the manufacturer about this issue, and they have decided the customer can reselect with an in store credit of $If they purchase something that is more expensive, then the
customer is responsible for the difference and if they select something of less dollars, there is no refund We will contact the consumer today with this information

The above ID# complaint was not issued by the consumer, our customerThe consumer came in February 11, and purchased a sofa, On February 13, the consumer came inand said he could not afford the sofaThe salesperson offered to put it on layaway and the customer agreedHe then proceeded
to shop that day and bought a loveseat and recliner and put money down on the second orderRemember, he had no money for the first order, On February 22, consumer came in and wanted to change the productWe already ordered the loveseat and recliner for the customer, so we did not allow the cancellationAs our contract stated, only Belpre Furniture can cancel an orderCustomer did sign a contractBelpre Furniture has the consumers money on his two ordersThe sales associate was very nice and polite to the customer, and I myself, never spoke to the consumer or his daughter as she stated in her complaintCustomer can have their furniture when it comes in from the factory and paid off

In reference to above ID#, this customer purchased furniture from us on March 13, This is a special order and not cancellable as the contract states and the customer initialed the special order box (see attached) It has been weeks not monthsWe did not give the customer the runaround, we
have no control of how long the factory takes to make the furniture, special for this customer and how long the trucking company takes to bring to usWe called the customer on May 12, 2015, and delivered the furniture the very next day May 13, I would say that is excellent customer service

Consumer purchased a sofa, our sale person accidentally ordered a loveseat instead, but they typed the word sofa on the contract but the item number was for a loveseatWe wanted to reorder the correct piece and make it right for the customer, they would not allow us to do thatWe offered to bring
him his recliner that he also ordered, he refusedThe manager does not get involved with the salesperson's orders, as they are paid on commission and they deal with their orders from beginning to the end and even through any service issues after the saleWe have offered the consumer his money back on 6/16/and he said he would call later with his credit card number so we could reverse his moneyAt this time, he still has not done thatThere is no interest accrued for his down paymentThe consumer must cancel his *** *** account, we cannot, it is his credit accountHis credit has not been impacted, as he owes nothing to *** *** until the furniture is deliveredNothing has been deliveredWe don't like these things to happen, but we are only human, and the salesperson made a mistakeJust waiting to credit the customer's credit card

Belpre Furniture came and picked up the couch last week and told me they would put new seats and new backs on) but when I called today they told me it was re-stuffed and the bottom was newThe right cushion was obviously not re-stuffed because it still had an indentation of where I had laid on it! When the men delivered it, the nurse was here, and I was in bed sickI asked the guys to take their shoes off before coming into the house with mudThey told me they could not remove their shoes and asked where they should put the couchI told them in the middle of the roomThey asked me to move my hospital bed and I said I couldn't cause I was in itAnd they wanted to know how the couch was brought in the last timeI said in two pieces, so they brought it in in two piecesThen they put it togetherWhen the nurse left and I was feeling well enough to get up, I inspected itThere were strings sticking out of it like they had not finished sewing it up ...and two holes on the right hand side seat of the loveseatI did not feel up to immediately calling (They probably hate me by now anyway) but yesterday -the next day- I called them about it, and I was extremely upset I am ashamed, but I criedI was just so upset about everythingThey were supposed to fix it, and it is still not rightI simply asked the lady I spoke to come and get the couch and please fix it and bring it backI told her "You people don't understand that I am a Cancer Patient and I have other things to worry about than this couchPlease come and get it and fix itShe informed me that *** *** would call me this morning*And she didn'tI waited until 1:30pm and called, but did not get to speak to ***It was ***y againShe told me *** was on the floor with a customer and could not come to the phoneI explained the condition of the couch after receiving it back, and She let me know they had replaced the cushions and re-stuffed the back of the couchAnd that the person who stuffs the couch has been working for them for yearsI told them that it was not fixedI asked them again to please fix the couchShe finally told me that they took pictures of the couch after it was "fixed" and that it looks fine and that they WOULD NOT fix it again *Now of all of the conversations I have had, and when I insinuated that if they fix it (one of my first conversations) and it just breaks again, "What are you going to do?" and I was told they would fix it as many times as needed but WOULD NOT refund my money So now I am being told in no uncertain terms that they are NOT GOING TO FIX IT What am I to do? Take the couch there myself to have it fixed???? I asked her, and she told me when the guy who fixes it would be there, but did not specify whether I would have to pay to have it fixed or not!?!? You don' t know how badly I want to just take the couch and leave it in front of the store, but then I would be out $1,and no furnitureThis is just unconscionableHave you ever had something like this happen? Is there really NOTHING that I can do to get closure?
