I reject the business response because not one word of the response is accurate and for it to be even considered accurate one would only have to visit the business to see why I say thisThe owner was in fear of his safety sitting behind security glass surrounded by two employees all of whom made overt threats but most threats came from the owner himself who had something smart to say about everything I askedThe employee sitting to his immediate left (I believe the name was Ivan) actually sold the engine to me and spoke up saying that he remembered the sale and the owner interrupted asking how do we know you paid he quickly followed this by an absurd suggestion that I leave the engine so he could sell the core for likely two times the amount he was not willing to pay to meThe fact that the owner goes to this length to avoid paying for an engine he knows based on his employees own admission was purchased from him shows that he has no intention of operating a transparent business and he is in such dire need of the $he would resort to threats of violence against his own customersThis owner if he can be called that, is at best uneducated and ignorant in the ways that customer service can result in repeat business that no sales or cheap prices can offer himHis personality is definitely not selling the name so why would anyone risk humiliation, bodily harm and general garbage treatment at the hands of this business I cannot for the life of me understandI will tell you this that a real man would admit the purchase based on the word of an employee especially given he remembered me and make this right rather than cause this level of aggravation and loss for a customer who has used the deplorable service many times beforeThis is truly a shame that a business would stoop to these levels to save a measly $that I am sure this owner spends on lunch everyday, the lack of concern, empathy, understanding and a general air of ignorance at this business makes it the ideal candidate for a well deserved F rating by the Revdex.comIf the Revdex.com cant smell what this business is selling from a mile away I would be genuinely surprised because the Revdex.com holds itself to the highest standards of excellence and ethics available in the business worldIt would behoove the ill mannered and ill tempered owner of this less than poor business to follow the leadership experience and educated members of the Revdex.com and develop a plan to either divest the business immediately or hand over management to a more capable intelligent individual with minimal understanding of business acumenI can speak from this horific experience compounded with even worse service that any member who goes to this length to avoid paying $he owes a customer should have his membership revoked and his rating lowered to an F without delay The only satisfactory solution here is a hand written apology from the owner along with a refund of the full amount of the $deposit at which time I would consider calling it satisfactory

in response to the letter received from you dated November 20, The complainant claims to have purchased an engine from usWe have no record of this transaction with this individualWe have no problem or issue refunding a core charge to a customer but they need to have a receipt to show a
core charge was paidA core charge is basically a deposit we hold until the customer returns their old or broken partCore charges vary from $to $depending of the item sold and are often adjusted by the sales person to accommodate the customerWe do need their receipt to see the amount of the core charge and how it was paid, so we can refund to the same method of paymentThis individual had no receipt and no idea how the transaction was paidHe just demanded $and said he paid his client and wanted us to reimburse himComplainant was belligerent and threaten me with bodily harm so much that another employee called the police.Beltway Used Auto Parts has been in in business since We are very proud of the reputation we have earnedIn an industry that isn't known for stellar customer service we try to stand out from our Competition. Please contact me if you have any questions.Best regards,Tim H***

I reject the business response because not one word of the response is accurate and for it to be even considered accurate one would only have to visit the business to see why I say this. The owner was in fear of his safety sitting behind security glass surrounded by two employees all of whom made overt threats but most threats came from the owner himself who had something smart to say about everything I asked. The employee sitting to his immediate left (I believe the name was Ivan) actually sold the engine to me and spoke up saying that he remembered the sale and the owner interrupted asking how do we know you paid he quickly followed this by an absurd suggestion that I leave the engine so he could sell the core for likely two times the amount he was not willing to pay to me. The fact that the owner goes to this length to avoid paying for an engine he knows based on his employees own admission was purchased from him shows that he has no intention of operating a transparent business and he is in such dire need of the $150 he would resort to threats of violence against his own customers. This owner if he can be called that, is at best uneducated and ignorant in the ways that customer service can result in repeat business that no sales or cheap prices can offer him. His personality is definitely not selling the name so why would anyone risk humiliation, bodily harm and general garbage treatment at the hands of this business I cannot for the life of me understand. I will tell you this that a real man would admit the purchase based on the word of an employee especially given he remembered me and make this right rather than cause this level of aggravation and loss for a customer who has used the deplorable service many times before. This is truly a shame that a business would stoop to these levels to save a measly $150 that I am sure this owner spends on lunch everyday, the lack of concern, empathy, understanding and a general air of ignorance at this business makes it the ideal candidate for a well deserved F rating by the Revdex.com. If the Revdex.com cant smell what this business is selling from a mile away I would be genuinely surprised because the Revdex.com holds itself to the highest standards of excellence and ethics available in the business world. It would behoove the ill mannered and ill tempered owner of this less than poor business to follow the leadership experience and educated members of the Revdex.com and develop a plan to either divest the business immediately or hand over management to a more capable intelligent individual with minimal understanding of business acumen. I can speak from this horific experience compounded with even worse service that any member who goes to this length to avoid paying $150 he owes a customer should have his membership revoked and his rating lowered to an F without delay.  The only satisfactory solution here is a hand written apology from the owner along with a refund of the full amount of the $150 deposit at which time I would consider calling it satisfactory.

Review: Purchased a used Knock Sensor for a 1999 Nissan Infiniti I30 and the product was faulty/damaged. Called Beltway and spoke to manager who said no refunds/exchange on electrical items. The manager also claimed that upon purchase I was advised that no return/refunds/exchanges on electrical components. I advised manager that not only was I NOT advised of this "verbal policy" but that according to their "TERMS OF ALE AND WARRANTY INFORMATION," which are clear on their (Beltway) receipt, the only item with no refund or exchange policy was used tires and I would like a working part please. I was called a scammer, crook, after a few minutes of debating and refused a refund or exchange.Desired Settlement: That Beltway take back their item and credit my CC the $50+tx charged. I do not want a credit a I will no longer do business with them again.
