Review: I enlisted Bema Moving Company to move 6 pieces of furniture from a friend's place in CT to my brothers place in **. First, Nick E[redacted] told me he would send me a contract through email. This was never done. However, I had such a difficult time finding a mover and was under a time crunch, so I decided to use Nick anyhow. Then, when asked how much furniture I had to move I gave him specifics - 6 pieces only. Come to find out he has his movers get the largest truck possible for only 6 pieces of furniture. The truck was so large that is was unable to take any major parkways. The men actually thought they were moving an entire house that day! Because of this, a 2 hr trip took 4 hrs and ended up costing me more money than expected. I since have contacted Nick several times to request an invoice and have yet to recieve one and have not heard back from Nick. This situation took place 9/19/15. Total cost 880.00 plus 100 down payment.Desired Settlement: I would like an invoice with the breakdown of costs, and would also like a refund of some of my money. The fact that he had his men use the largest truck is not my issue. He knew the amount of furniture I had to move and should have instructed them to use the correct size truck.

Review: on 11/24/2015, Bema Brothers moving provided moving services for me for my move. Prior to hiring this company, I emailed them and asked if they were insured and yhey said yes. During the move, the movers ruined and damaged several items of furniture, 2 of which are no longer usable due to the damage. I emailed the company to let them know about the damage and asked if they wanted pictures. They emailed me back on 11/25/2015 and said yes. I emailed them the pictures and have not heard back since. I have emailed the company multiple times since then with no response. The last time I had contact with the company was when I called on 12/7/2015 at 4:59pm and spoke with Nick. He said he would check his spam email and get back to me but I have not heard back yet. I just tried calling them again on 12/8/2015 at 9:19am with no response. I would like reimbursement to replace and repair damaged itemsDesired Settlement: I am requesting that the company utilize their insurance to reimburse me in the amount of $1000.00 to replace the chair and night stand that were broken as well as to replace/repair the book case that has been damaged.

Review: [redacted], the owner, and his buddies were hired to move me out of my old condo and into my new townhouse. I provided the moving truck, and professional moving supplies while [redacted] provided the professional moving labor. While I provided 24 professional moving blankets, twine, robe, prote**ive plastic sheets, and tape.[redacted] decided to only use a couple blankets. He said things were packed well, and despite being young, I assumed he knew what he was doing as he moves people every weekend. I only moved a few miles away so my items didn't spend much time in the truck. However, once [redacted] left and his friends were moving me inat least one of them made it obvious they lacked common sense. One of his friends was sliding large boxes across my wood floors, and couldnt understand the concept of needing space to move around and not filling up rooms entirely with boxes and furniture.As [redacted]s employees/friends unpacked, I saw that my wood furniture was badly damaged:1)large chunk of the finish/wood on a dining room chair2)Legs on dining room table are missing finish/stain on the edges3)Large scratches and a gouge in my wood dresser4)End of couch was filthy and stainedI don't think [redacted] and his employees were being malicious, I just think they are young and inexperienced and dont think about the second and third order consequences of their a**ions. However, my experience with [redacted] after the move has been an eye opening experience. I now know that [redacted] lacks integrity, does not a** like the owner of a business, doesnt take responsibility, and lacks serious common sense. This is not how I would handle things if I was negligent and damaged furniture.Desired Settlement: I can't find a valid ** business license or insurance policy. I'm currently running a search with the [redacted], ** Tax, and ** attorney generals office. At this point I've gone through so much ** with [redacted], and I've lost for 60 plus days.Willing to settle with [redacted] before I notify the people of [redacted] County and file. At this point were looking at moving costs, [redacted] costs, furniture replacement (dining room set, dresser) as well as compensation for loss of use
