Mr [redacted] did come in to talk to me about a week or two ago Even though his repairs are out of warranty, I informed him that I would do any necessary repairs at "no charge" I believe he decided to take his vehicle somewhere else If he is requiring some monetary refund, I don't believe I am obligated to do that I did offer to repair it at no cost to him, however, his decision to take it to some other place is totally his prerogative We as humans can make errors and there is also the possibility of getting defective parts The offer still stands if he has, by any chance not had it repaired yet Please let me know if we can be of any help Respectfully [redacted]

Ms*** did bring her vehicle to have the leak taken care of. I did speak to her and informed her that her repairs were still under warranty, if she wishes to bring to us, we can check it and resolve her problem. The repairs we did on the transmission "will not"
cause the engine to overheat, she may have some other problem, which we can try to locate for her. Again her repairs are still under warranty and we will be happy to work on it. Thank You*** ***

First of all Mr*** is neglecting to inform you that he had his transmission repaired by some other individual and he got taken by him. He asked if I could help him, I informed him that I would try, since it is always harder to correct some other persons work. I did inform
him that if we did the repairs we would not charge him for the towing, I then made arrangements to have his vehicle picked up, at no time did I tell him that we had free towing. I also informed him that we were extremely busy and I would try to check it as soon as possible. When Mr*** called I informed him I had not checked his car, Mr*** got angry and said he was going to come to pick up his car. I then informed him of the $for the towing. I called him about a week later, since he had not come to get his car, and asked him when he was going to pick up his car, I again informed him of the towing charges. When he arrived he told me he had "no money" I then told him to return when he had the $for the towing. This gentleman is a habitual liar, then he said I only have $40.00, of which I have a witness. As I was leaving he said he only had $60.00, then he informed me that he had the full amount of $65.00. At no time was Mr*** misinformed, I also feel he wanted us to fix his vehicle for little or nothing. The receipt I gave him states $not $as Mr*** states. Since we did not perform any repairs, he was not charged for any. I also feel that he should not get a refund since he was never misinformed and was informed of the towing charges. Respectfully;*** ***

Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because: Deceptive Trade Practices - unacceptable that vehicles was not repair correctly, I do not have time to take my vehicle to NGT every week. How many times do I have to take it back for the shop to repair right the first time. Especially, when vehicle was completely not going to drive. Human errors should not be an excuse, I have taken my vehicle for engine repair (rebuilt) have not had any problem. Either the mechanic are not certified or possible putting old defective parts.  I would not know unless the business gets investigated by proper authority.  Consumer Protection Act includes some sections that deal with auto repairs. Under this law, it is illegal to: Knowingly make a false or misleading statement about the need for parts, replacement or repair service. State that work has been done or parts were replaced when that is not true. Represent that goods are original or new, when in fact they are second-hand or refurbished. Advertise goods or services with intent not to sell them as advertised.
