On Friday, January 31, 2020, Ben Franklin Plumbing services provided emergency services at ***, but the technicians left that by leaving the leak running. The business did not provide the immediate work as agreed to mitigate the risk. We contacted the business two weeks ago in writing via first class mail and email. However, we are not obtaining any statement or explanation. We need assistance to resolve the case. The short version is is below. Thank you, Cyrus

To whom it may concern:
Please forward this notice to the designated account manager with regards to invoice number *** and the work performed on Friday, January 31, 2020. The total amount came up to $***. When we first reported a suspected leak at *** to Benjamin Franklin on Thursday, January 30, 2020, the response rate was commendable with the technicians on site within two hours.
The reason for writing management this evening is to express concern with the invoice and the work performed. When I returned at 1900 PST on January 31, 2020, I checked the main water meter near the curb and it was still running unusually high even though everything was turned off inside. While the technicians supplied multiple invoices for repiping and long term recommendations estimated at $*** and higher, the immediate concern was not addressed by turning the water valve to the water heater. As I turned off the water supply that evening, the leak noise subsided and the water meter finally stopped spinning. This was the desired result in the emergency Statement of Work (SOW) to avoid structural damage.

Billing Adjustment We would like to request the following: Billing adjustment - $*** was charged for work perform from 0930 to 1130 PST on Friday, January 31, 2020. This is an hourly rate over $*** and the technicians named*** did not even address the leak. They left the property without stopping the leak exposing the structure to additional risk. The cosmetic work performed that day is worth $500 but we will negotiate a rate as per the Revdex.com recommendation.
the technician and myself met with customer on Saturday, 2/29/2020, showed customer all the pictures of damages and explained what was repaired, *** was satisfied with our explanation and said he would review additional work with his family. *** did close complaint with State license board and I believe he meant to close this complaint as well. If there are any issues we will be more than happy to address those with ***.

my update on March 2 aligns with the business response on April 3. While we did not obtain a financial refund, the business responded and we have a contact opportunity with the operations manager.
For now, please consider the case closes while we work on a permanent solution.
