I was surprised again see this response After the first complaint I spoke to my workers and was in talks with the roofing supplier to see if I could get a little assistance on the materialI would have to pay for the material and labor for the repairThe $ was a lower than cost for the workThe insurance company saying that it was $1000+ worth of damage and us offering to do it for $shows our willingness to helpThe customer now states that they don't want to talk to us I'm sorry that they feel this wayWe are willing to work with them on this but the customer is right when they say its not our fault, and it is bad luckWe treat our customers better than most but I cant get material for free and I cant expect our workers to get on a roof and put in a hard day of work without paying themSo we cant do it for free Based on the response the customer is ultimately going to hire someone and pay for the materials and labor but it wont be us It is unfortunate since there is a warranty on our labor and on the materials that weren't damaged by the stormWe were looking forward to a long relationship with them but nonetheless a free repair in this case is unfair and illogical and while we appreciate our clients we also expect logical and fair treatmentGood luck to them and if they change their mind we will hold no hard feelings

Sorry for the delayed responseWe just saw the emailWe were unaware that the customer felt this wayThe last communication thay we had was a text saying that they couldn't" afford the repair at this timeWe will contact the customer to try and resolve this situation

I am rejecting this response because:I do not want to speak with this company, even though this is bad luck on a new roof speaking with Tone the day it happen he immediately blamed it on the weather even though I spoke to him the Friday before about shingles falling of the roof. The insurance company only estimated the damage at $1,and Tone wants to charge another $to repair is own work. Mother nature or not having a new roof for less than months just tell how he treats his customers after the job is done and he has collected his money

I am rejecting this response because:  After hiring a roofing company they found several areas of the roof that were not sealed properly and this is what caused the shingles to blow off in the first place. I have learned a lesson hire the right people for the job. It is unfortunate that he did not stand by a storm damage roof that he installed less than 2 months ago, His company lost out on $30,000 worth of work for a repair less than $1,000.

I was surprised again see this response.  After the first complaint I spoke to my workers and was in talks with the roofing supplier to see if I could get a little assistance on the material. I would have to pay for the material and labor for the repair. The $780  was a lower than normal cost for the work. The insurance company saying that it was $1000+ worth of damage and us offering to do it for $780 shows our willingness to help. The customer now states that they don't want to talk to us.  I'm sorry that they feel this way. We are willing to work with them on this but the customer is right when they say its not our fault, and it is bad luck. We treat our customers better than most but I cant get material for free and I cant expect our workers to get on a roof and put in a hard day of work without paying them. So we cant do it for free.  Based on the response the customer is ultimately going to hire someone and pay for the materials and labor but it wont be us.  It is unfortunate since there is a warranty on our labor and on the materials that weren't damaged by the storm. We were looking forward to a long relationship with them but nonetheless a free repair in this case is unfair and illogical and while we appreciate our clients we also expect logical and fair treatment. Good luck to them and if they change their mind we will hold no hard feelings.

We've been in contact with our customer and it's being taking care of.
