I have been to Benares Indian Restaurant at [redacted] [redacted] on 12/**/2015 at noon. We were 2 people and ate 2 lunch buffet. When the purchase receipt (statement or whatever you call it) arrived. we noticed that they added 18% tips automatically. Upon asking why it is already added and not an option to choose, the manager replied that workers are paid less hence they are collecting the gratuity in the bill directly. Our total amount before gratuity was $28.20 and on top of this they added 18% tips which came out to $32.86.
