As previously stated, Greg wrote an estimate for the damage which was pointed out by Mr***In addition, Greg wrote the estimate with discounted labor ratesWith that said, Suburban proceeded to fix his vehicle accordingly
Once the vechicle was completed and Mr*** arrived to pickup his vechicle, he then noticed the rocker damage and expressed he wanted Suburban to fix for freeGiven that Suburban did not touch the rocker and the damage was unrelated to the original estimate (attached), Suburban will not pay for the repair of the rockerSuburban fixed all damage pointed out by the customerIf he wanted the rocker fixed, he should have pointed out in the begining. Suburban would have given him a seperate estimate for the rocker as it was not related to the claim
With all this said, Suburban is not going to pay for the repair of the rocker

Suburban lied again about they fixed all the damage pointed out by the customer. The ignorance of leaving damage on my car compromised the whole job.Again this was on the car at pricing in december all the way till they surrendered the car to me on the eleventh day in their shopNot a word was said to us why they left it unfinishedIm sure they told their bodyman not to do itWho told suburban not to do it? Its an absolute impossibility to miss it and ignore itIt was left purposefullyWhat does a cash paying customer need, a voice recorder during pricing at suburban. In good faith a customer relies on a reputable business to listen and get it rightSuburban missed the fix from start to finish Suburbans price to finish the job was $Thats what they owe me to get it fixed at a reputable dealerThis establishment is shown to be not trustworthy

Mr. [redacted] initally came to Suburban for an Estimate to Repair on December 9th 2015. Mr. [redacted] pointed out the damage in which he wanted repaired due to his 2005 civic being damaged in his driveway. Greg B[redacted] wrote an estimate for that damage. The damage was at the rear fender lip at body side...

molding line and scraped horizontally to almost rear edge of the front door. The estimate was written accordingly and reviewed with Mr. [redacted]. At that point, Mr. [redacted] was given a Preliminary Estimate. The rocker panel was never discussed with Mr. B[redacted]. Furthermore, the rocker panel is unrelated to this accident, therefore, would not be covered as part of this "claim". He advised Mr. [redacted] that once the car is in production, additional damage may be found and they would notify him at that time with the cost and for approval by him and or his wife. Mr. [redacted] then advised Mr. B[redacted] that the 3rd party would be paying via a check. Mr. B[redacted] then advised Mr. [redacted] that Suburban Collision does not accept third party checks. The only form of payment Suburban would accept is Visa, Mastercard or Discover or a personal check from Mr. [redacted] for not more than $1,000.00.
Mr. [redacted] contacted Mr. B[redacted] when he received a check from the third party and wanted to schedule for repair. Mr. B[redacted] reiterated to Mr. [redacted] that Suburban does not accept 3rd party checks, however, he would work with him and told him he could mail the check and once we deposited it would take 7 to 10 business days to clear. Once we received notification the check cleared, we would contact him and at that point he could drop his car. Mr. [redacted] dropped his car on Sunday, January 10th 2016 and we received the check the following day January 11th. Mr. B[redacted] called the number we were given and Mrs. [redacted] answered the phone. Mr. B[redacted] then explained to Mrs. [redacted] that Suburban did not accept third party checks. She understood and instructed Mr. B[redacted] to "void" the check and they would pay via credit card when they picked up their vehicle. Once this was resolved, the car was placed in production.
Suburban's technician assessed the damage and notified Mr. B[redacted] the door skin needs to be replaced for the proper repair due to the amount of stretch to the steel. Mr. B[redacted] contacted Mrs. [redacted] on January 12th at 1:52 pm to discuss the replacement and cost of the doorskin. In addition, he communicated to Mrs. [redacted] he lowered the body and paint labor rates to help absorb the additional costs of repairs. At that point, she approved the additional costs and the doorskin was ordered.
The final repair was completed on January 20th the customer notified and came to pickup their vehicle. The customer was very happy with the work we performed. At that point, he pointed out the rocker damage and wanted repaired for free. Greg instructed him he would contact him with the cost to repair. The customer then left the premises. Greg reached customer and gave him the cost to repair of $294.00. Also, Greg told the customer the damage to the rocker was not related to the accident; it was probable due to a landscaping timber or stone which may have damaged the rocker.   With all that said, Suburban will not pay for the rocker to be repaired. If Mr. [redacted] would like us to repair the rocker, he may bring it back and pay the 294.00
