Reference: ID - [redacted] To whom it may concern,In response to the complaint issued by Mr [redacted] **.,Benchmark Communities, please note that I have spoken to Mr [redacted] directly regarding his complaint and we are addressing his concerns as follows:1) Replacement of wooden beam (knee brace) - As Iexplained to Mr [redacted] , Benchmark Communities has not intentionally been delinquent repairing this requestMr [redacted] 's home was built in and the current vendor is no longer availableWe had difficulties with scheduling material supply and installation of the replacement pieceHowever, we have secured a new vendor to address this repair and will make sure it is corrected completely.2) Shower pan replacement - Mr [redacted] 's home is one of several we are (as a precaution) offering to replace the shower pan in the master bath to prevent any potential future leaks thereBecause of the size and scope of the work and material involved with the replacement, we are working with our insurance carrier to determine and coordinate the best approach for repair We are committed to fully replacing this item, once we have a definitive plan, scope of work, and vendor contracted to do the workBenchmark will communicate with Mr [redacted] the status and coordinate and schedule the actual repair work to be completed.As I explained to Mr [redacted] , Benchmark Communities sincerely apologizes for any inconvenience and delays that have occurred during this warranty process It is our intention to fulfill our obligation to Mr [redacted] under the terms of his new home warranty and address both of these items to completion
