? Revdex.com, At no point did the business offer a refund.? The only thing she did offer was to take off the patches and that is all.? I am not trying to "shake down"? anyone.? Also, if she did offer a refund at any point of our conversation I would? have taken it and this complaint would have not? been filed.? I would not allow this business to do any further work to the vest even taking off the patches to take elsewhere to get them sown back on.? I should have know I was not going to be happy the moment I walked, in and she complained when her phone rang and she complained because she was so busy.? I did give the business the benefit of the doubt since they do work for the military base across the street,? I thought she should be good since she does military adjustments.? When? I picked up the vest they just took my money and said thank you and turned right back around and didn't say anything else.? They did not ask me to check to make sure everything was good and did not notice it until a couple of days later when I handed it to my husband as his birthday? present.? He is the one that noticed how that patches were sown through all the pockets.? This was very embarrassing to have been asked why all the pockets were sown through.? I should have checked before I left,? but I should have also been asked to check the work before I left if this is their policy as they say.? And if this is their policy they should make? sure their customers are happy when they leave with their itemsI would accept the $I paid for the patches to be sown on since I will not be making any other changes to the vest due to not wanting to damage the leather.? *** the customer was offered her money back but refused when she found out we would remove the patches from the vestOnce we removed the patches and returned her money the customer could have taken the vest to another business and had the liner removed and patches sewn back on in the same spot
with no damage to vestI'm sure this would have cost considerably moreOur policy usually does not allow us to make this offer once the clothing leaves our shopWe encourage the customers to try on and look over all items prior to paying and leaving the shopThis particular customer picked the item up and paid and did not identify any problems with the vest at that timeThe customer then returned several days later to complainAfter seeing the amount requested by the customer we are now considering this a shake down and will address it as suchPlease include a name with any further correspondence
