I am rejecting this response because: As you could read this business owner is absolutely unprofessional in his response to holding a customer's paymentI have no problem paying for shipping and credit card chargesI just want my refund in the kit and taxes paidNo reason to try to make this personal, we do not even know each otherI purchased a kit and not all parts are manufactured by this company and they want to charge a restocking fee? I think the Revdex.com should be able to give a negative review based on this immature response by the business owner
In the very first sentence of the letter, he says he paid $for a partThen, at the bottom of the letter he says he paid $for the partWhen he first contacted me and said he wanted to return the custom adapter kit, he said he was "going to go another route"Which means he never even
tried to install itHe admitted that the kit looked well made but that he just couldn't use itSaying that it didn't work is an outright lie as he never even tried to install itI'm sure that his wife yelled at him for buying such an expensive part for his carWhen I get a return I install it on a motor we have here in the shop to make sure it is in good shape for resaleThere is nothing wrong with itHe thinks we should refund every cent that he paid, plus the shipping costsWell, we certainly aren't going to refund any shipping and we certainly aren't going to return the credit card feesWhen we key in a card payment from a phone order the credit card fees are much higher than if we were able to swipe the cardSince this is a custom made kit, we have a lot of time in itWe are not Wal-mart where you just change your mind and return a toaster for the whole $you paidWe have a 20% return and restocking charge which includes our time and card feesHe needs to take responsibility for his own actionsIf he doesn't have enough money to purchase something then he should maybe not buy it?
