Review: When I left my previous employer, I opted for COBRA continuation coverage for insurance until my coverage began under my new employer. My COBRA coverage should have lasted from July 1 through September 24, 2015. I did not receive any bill until September, and the amount was around $2200, nearly $700 more than what it should have been. Once I received that first bill, I received two more with different amounts in the next two weeks. In addition, I faxed a letter on October 10, after I was told by their employee on October 9th I had to send a fax if I wanted to terminate coverage, and I continue to receive past due bills, each with additional months premiums. I have called on multiple occasions to try to get this resolved, and it is a rarity that anyone answers the phone. In addition, when I have been able to reach somebody, I have talked to the same person on more than one instance, and he is never able to help me. He also told me that he never received the fax I sent in regards to termination of coverage. Today, I received a letter indicating my termination of coverage on July 31 due to non payment.Desired Settlement: I would like one final bill with the total amount owed from July 1- September 24, 2015 minus the total amount I have already paid.
