Benefit Legal

I was contacted by Benefit Legal last fall. They offered me a way to minimize the effects of the foreclosure threat of my property. I signed a contract agreement to pay Benefit Legal $1,995.00 monthly to monitor my foreclosure situation through the court system here in Cook County. I was notified in October, that the bank ([redacted]), had obtained a court order to foreclose on my property. I was contacted by Real Property Management offering me a way to lease the property form [redacted]. I signed a lease agreement December 31, 2014 allowing me to continue to stay in the house. The lease is month to month. The problem is Benefit Legal continued to withdraw the automatic $1,995.00 from my account up until April 2015. I contacted Benefit Legal after noticing the withdrawals asking them to refund the withdrawals from January 2015 through April 2015. They, Benefit Legal, offered me a refund equivient to one month's payment of $1,995.00. When I met with a representative of Benefit Legal to collect the refund check. I was asked to sign a release agreement releasing Benefit Legal from any further/future financial/legal obligations concerning my case. I refused to sign the gagreement. The representative didn't give me the $ 1,995.00 check. I am seeking legal representation at this point.
