Benihana

On Saturday, June *, 2019, I ate at Benihana on west 56 street with 7 kids. The service was terrible and the food was undercooked. Additionally, we were disappointed in that we were celebrating a my sons birthday party and were rushed to eat and squeezed into a table with 3 other people with no room for plates. Needless to say I received the bill which came to $336.86 and I left a tip of $20.00 for a total of 356.86. Benihana with out my authorization or consent charged my credit card $392.55. The bill clearly says suggested tips, with NO INDICATION that they can add whatever amount they want to your bill. The service was terrible and there was no interaction from the chef. If the restaurant wants to build in a gratuity, it should be reflected on the BILL and customers should be made aware.
