We were contacted by the customer regarding a mechanical breakdown of their vehicle. We wanted to try and help resolve the issue they were having so we asked them to bring the vehicle in for us to inspect and diagnose the problem. Upon...

inspection of the vehicle it was found that the vehicle had jumped time and that was why it was no longer operational. The cause for jumping time was abuse of the vehicle. Multiple indicators led to this diagnosis and we have 40 pictures supporting the failure from abuse diagnosis. The vehicle was 1500 miles overdue for an oil change. It was evident that someone added oil to the vehicle as the old oil was black and fresh oil was around the lip of the reservoir. The vehicle had front clip damage and it is evident that the vehicle had been stuck in mud. Mud was caked in the fender wells, on the tires, all over the undercarriage, inside the door jams, mud was even on the inner lining of the hood.
