Keith Curtice, did the work and was informative, knowledgeable and professional.
The price seemed about right and a little lower than other plumbers I contacted.

The service was excellent and professional. The technician (Keith) arrived on time and quickly diagnosed the problem and presented alternatives for replacement or repair. I choose to replace the water heater as it was 20 years old. Keith drove through a snow storm to Reno and back to get a new water heater. He installed the unit, cleaned up the area in a much better condition than he found it all in the same day (Pro Bowl Sunday). Great job!!! Super technician!!! I was advised well in advance of Kevin's arrival. He was punctual, extremely professional, courteous, and expertly qualified to do his job.. He let me know, before he began work to let me know the cost of the job, in order for me to determine if I wanted the work performed. This is the second time Kevin has come to my home,and, in fact is the reason I have called Benjamin Franklin and requested him specifically. FAILURE TO PROVIDE AND COMPLETE WORK AS AGREED UPON. SEVERAL NO CALL NO SHOW DATES.THEY WERE RETAINED TO COMPLETE A REPLUMB JOB AND REDO TWO SHOWERS ON THE RESIDENCE. THEY HAVE BEEN PAID IN FULL THE AMOUNT OF $12,3247.00 VIA CASHIERS CHECK. THREE NO CALL NO SHOW APPOINTMENT TIMES - TWO SATURDAYS IN A ROW. KATHLEEN SET UP THIS LAST ONE ON TUESDAY 9/13 WITH TOM THE PLUMBER AND HE GUARANTEED TO BE THERE TODAY AT 8 AM ON THE DOT. SHE ALSO STATED SHE WAS SUPPOSED TO CALL ME ON MONDAY 9/12 BUT FORGOT WHEN SHE WAS CALLED INTO A MEETING. WHEN THEY LEFT ON 9/9 THEY STATED THEY WOULD BE BACK ABOUT 3:30 PM ON SATURDAY 9/10. NO ONE CALLED NO ONE SHOWED UP. MY TIME IS JUST AS IMPORTANT AS THEIRS.....ONE SHOWER IS FOR MY DISABLED HUSBAND AND THEY GOT THE WRONG SHOWER SYSTEM THEY GOT A STEP IN SHOWER INSTEAD OF THE REQUIRED ROLL IN SHOWER WHICH IS ON THE PAPERWORK. I HAVE NO SHOWERS AVAILABLE RIGHT NOW. THEY HAVE FAILED TO RESPOND TO A COMPLAINT I FILED WITH THE CORPORATE OFFICE ALSO, WHICH I SHALL ATTACH. THEY TOOK APART MY DRYER VENT DUCTWORK AND LEFT IT OFF AND WIDE OPEN TO THE ELEMENTS OUTSIDE AND INSIDE AND HAVE FAILED TO FIX THAT SYSTEM. IT WAS A WORKING SYSTEM BEFORE THEY FKED IT UP. IF IT HADN'T BEEN FOR ME CALLING THEM, I WOULD NEVER KNOW THAT THEY WERE NOT COMING TO FINISH THE JOB. ABSOLUTELY UNACCEPTABLE IN MY OPINION. LOUSY CUSTOMER SERVICE. Ben Franklin recognized the break down in communication between a sub-contractor and us. We have taken the appropriate steps to ensure these type of issues do not repeat themselves. We have also completed work that was on the top of the complaints and exceeded the customers expectations with the finish product. There is still one part of the project left that we are waiting on material to be delivered. Ben Franklin Plumbing has upgraded the parts and will also upgrade the install at no cost to customer.
