I purchased a 2004 Lincoln Town Car. Air never worked correctly, they had it in their shop 9 times over the year or so I had it and it was never fixed. They couldn't or wouldn't fix the problem. BMV records show they owned the car a while before I bought it and it was driven several thousand miles, there is no way they weren't aware of this problem.
I threw in the towel and requested they buy it back, they gave me a little more than half of what I paid for it. I wouldn't sell it privately, because it was defective I wouldn't pass the problem on. Sure they offered to fix it again (10th times a charm?), but really how many times is really reasonable? I was sick of dealing with a defective car that I believed they really had no intention of fixing.
So, I am stuck making payments on their defective car for the next couple years, without a car and they've already placed the trap for the next chump to buy it. The car is for sale two days after I sold it back, bet the air is charged and working now! For a little while.
I very sorry and broke because I trusted their word, never again.
