Please see the attached documents regarding Mr*** *** membership at Planet FitnessThe fifth bullet point spells out cancelation procedures
including "To cancel your monthly membership and stop the monthly billing on the 17th of the month, the club requires written notification by the 10th of the month delivered to the club in person or preferably via certified mail..." Club polices are that when a member cancels in person, a Cancellation Form is completed and a carbon copy is given to the former member for their recordIt is then scanned and the cancellation form is filedMr*** has no cancellation form, cancellation letter, no cancellation documents attached to his account nor does he have a carbon copy of his cancellationTherefore because Mr*** did not follow proper cancellation procedures, his account remained open and active until June Attached is Mr*** AR History Report showing that his charges began immediately from the time that he opened his account on 2/26/The next four consecutive months all declined and his balance accrued to $including $service fees for each monthHis billing stopped before he was charged his June monthly membership duesI offered to waive the four service fees making his balance $and asked him to provide a different payment method for his membershipHe declined my offerNevertheless, Mr*** is still liable for his past membership dues per his signed agreement

I just received the letter about the complaint. I actually just got off the phone with the customer. It just took a little longer than expected to get the refund processed due to how far back the issue began. And I also needed to verify that...
there were no overdraft fees and that cancelation of the incorrect account had been fully processed so that we wouldn’t have to do a second refund request after the first to try to keep everything a little less confusing. I have already reached out to her to give her an understanding of the situation so we are both on the same page.
