repairing the table theyrented from us, they may be able to forego us needing to retain their refund,and we may be able to continue using the table they had rented from us.While we understand the [redacted]s are trying to be helpful, it is notour policy to reuse defective tables. The reason for this is so we will norincur future liability should there be any accidents resulting from thedefective state of the table. While it is sometime helpful to try a homerepair, we have discovered in our business that taking the risk of a faultytable improperly repaired by a person who is not a licensed contractor isnot worth the risk. We have many complaints when tables fall apart and wedo not need to incur a lawsuit.While the [redacted]s contend that the table they had rented had abend in it at the time they rented it, it is my belief, having checked themerchandise before and after it was rented, this defect in the table whichcompletely hinders out ability to rent it out again, did not exist prior to ourrenting it to the [redacted]s.Please accept this response to the complaint lodged by the[redacted]s against our business and let us know what we can do to helpyour investigation proceed."
