Regarding the complaint ID# [redacted] , thank you for allowing me to respond.Full dentures and partial dentures are the two dental procedures that have the lowest customer satisfaction of anything we do Up to 95% of people receiving a full lower denture are not satisfied with the prosthesis It doesn't matter which dentist they go to Knowing ahead of time that the patient's satisfaction is unpredictable, we are very careful to obtain the proper informed consent In addition we gain approval of the set of dentures before the final processing procedure In the case of ID# [redacted] , the patient signed and dated the informed consent as well as signing and dating the tportion which says "I approve the tooth shape, size, and over all arrangement of my new denture and I give my consent for the final processing and/or delivery."Unfortunately this patient was not satisfied with the new dentures which in my opinion were excellent and far superior to her old set We saw her for many visits to try to remedy her concerns but ultimately she was still not happy.Part of the informed consent reads"Given the fact that dentures are an attempt to replace teeth with a removable plastic device, there is no way to guarantee the outcome or success of any denture case There will be no refunds given if a patient is not satisfied with his or her dentures."Thanks again for allowing me to respond.Sincerely, [redacted] JBenke, DDs

It doesn't matter which dentist they go to. Knowing ahead of time that the patient's satisfaction is unpredictable, we are very careful to obtain the proper informed consent. In addition we gain approval of the set of dentures before the final processing procedure. In the case of ID#[redacted], the patient signed and dated the informed consent as well as signing and dating the try-in portion which says "I approve the tooth shape, size, and over all arrangement of my new denture and I give my consent for the final processing and/or delivery."Unfortunately this patient was not satisfied with the new dentures which in my opinion were excellent and far superior to her old set. We saw her for many visits to try to remedy her concerns but ultimately she was still not happy.Part of the informed consent reads"Given the fact that dentures are an attempt to replace teeth with a removable plastic device, there is no way to guarantee the outcome or success of any denture case.
