Thank you for the notice of the complaint submitted against my business, Benko Masonry.Let me start by saying that I have been in business for years and take pride in the fact that I have never had a customer complaintThe issues that I had with this specific customer are unfortunate and were present from the beginning.The issue at hand and the stem of the complaint is not the work that I did to resurface the chimney but in fact the damage due to an internal water issueI explained this to her in my responseNo matter how many times the chimney is resurfaced or who does it the issue will continue to happen until the Water problem is fixedI assume that the roofer that she mentions in her letter was there to look at the cause of the water damageI did not see any information from this roofer in the paperwork I receivedI'm not sure why she wouldn't have called another mason for advice on the chimney unless she knew that the damage is coming from the roof.In summation, the job that I was hired to complete was to resurface a chimneycompleted that jobIf a painter finishes painting a house and the roof leaks the complaint should not be brought up against the painter.Please feel free to email or call me as neededRegards,Bernard Benko Benko Masonry

I am rejecting his response because MrBenko was the one that said "My guess is its a roof problem somewhere"That is why I called a roofer who has been in business over years and he stated that the chimney should have been flashed which MrBenko's laborers DID NOT DO .Could that be the reason I am now getting moisture in my chimney??
I also wanted the chimney wired and was told by MrBenko that "It does not need to be wired" because this mixture I am putting on will last way over years

I explained this to her in my response. No matter how many times the chimney is resurfaced or who does it the issue will continue to happen until the Water problem is fixed.
