On Oct. 18, 2015, I went to Bennett Auto Brokers looking for a vehicle to purchase after having my car totaled resulting from a car accident and while at Bennett Auto Brokers, I purchased an 07 Nissian Altima for $4700 cash. I was told by the owner Corey Bennett that the vehicle was a trade in to him for something new and the car was in excellent shape with mainly highway miles. After negotiating and taking into considerat'on the vehicle needing tires and front bumper painted, we agreed upon an amount and I got the car. A couple of weeks after I noticed the car was jerking a little and I was honestly thinking maybe it could be some gas so I put in a gas treatment and later mentioned to my dad the car may possibly need a tune up because the problem got worst. On Fri., Dec. 18, 2015 while in Raleigh, NC Christmas shopping the car would not move while in Reverse for me to back out a park. I attempted and finally it jerks very hard and moves about 5 mph and once in drive jerked more but I was able to make it home. That Mon., Dec. 21, 2015, I took the car to [redacted] and service advisor [redacted] informed me of needing to replace the transmission which would cost a little over $4000 after the vehicle was checked and diagnosed. They also looked at me like I was crazy asking why I brought it back after having it diagnosed on Sept. 25, 2015. I informed them of me not even owning the car prior to my purchase date of 10/18/15. I contacted the owner Corey Bennett of Bennett Auto Brokers and informed him of the problem and he tells me the car was purchased as is and he was sorry but didnt know what I wanted him to do. He offered to get his transmission guy that would charge me $3000. I had the car less than 2 months before this car messed up and I am just hurt knowing I have wasted $4700 on a car and now have no transportation. I have talked to Mr. Bennett and my aunt even called and we never said he knew but I did say, I knew for a fact it was At [redacted] prior to me.Product_Or_Service: 2007 Nissian AltimaDesired SettlementAt [redacted] prior to me & the bad transmission was already diagnosed. Mr. Bennett got very upset with me and it first refused to give me the date of the vehicle inspection and purchase date for him. He finally gave it to me and told me he received the car on October 8th. The carfax shows different dates for registration on the vehicle and I am wondering if the date listed is really the date he recieved it. I spoke to him again on Tues. & he was very rude and told me since I was going further to search dates, he was done. He offered his transmission guy again but I told him I didnt have thousands when I just gave him all of my money for the Altima and now its not drivable. I really need your help with this. Mr. Corey Bennett has been very unprofessional. I told him there was no reason for him to be upset because I am the one that loss money with him. He also told me if he helped every customer he sold a car to, he would be broke. I said unless he is selling bad cars to every cu
