Review: Over the years, I have brought several pieces of jewelry into Bennett Jewelers for repair, and consistently I have received poor quality service. After bringing a ring in to be resized, I returned to find an existing gap in the ring (part of the design) was pulled apart to create the illusion of a bigger ring. Most recently, I brought a diamond necklace in to be repaired, paid $101.04 for the service, and just noticed that the jeweler didn't close one of his cuts into the metal, leaving the diamond free to fall. As a 17 year old, I feel that Bennett Jewelers is taking advantage of my naivete and charging me for poor quality work.Desired Settlement: I would like a refund, since the service I requested was not performed. I will take the necklace elsewhere to be repaired.

As per Ms. [redacted]’s direction we spliced the chain and attached it to each side of a bezeled diamond. The estimate given to do such work is $95.00 (with tax it comes to the $101.04) and was given to her the day she came in to have it changed. In no way would her age have anything to do with the estimate given to her. No other work was done to this piece other then what was asked. If there is danger of the diamond falling out, we would be happy to fix it at no charge to Ms. [redacted]. In regards to the ring she mentions about being resized, again, we wish she had come in and told us she was unhappy.
