*** met with the homeowner and took the fence company representative with himThe customer stated he would retract his complaint on our home building company in regards to the fence situationWe are just following up, as we have not been notified of any change by Revdex.comIf further information is needed from us, please let me knowThank you!

Fences are not a warranty itemWe, as the builder, do not warranty a fence nor do any of the fence companies that we have ever dealt with warranty a fenceWe do value this customer, and have addressed any and all items that are warranty itemsHowever, we follow the warranty, which is very
specific on what is covered and what is notYou will see in the definition section of the warranty under Gthat it specifically states that fences are not part of the home and do not fall under the warrantyThe customer did call several times and was told by our staff and by ProHome (a 3rd party that we pay to manage any warranty items) that the fence is not covered***, from our office, sent a text message to the customer on September 29th stating the fence was not covered by the warrantyThe customer walked the home and signed off on several forms prior to closing on the homeThere was never a problem with the fence prior to closing the homeWe were not notified of any problem with the fence until after the customer stained itEven if the fence were to fall under warranty, after it was stained by another company, that would void any warranty (as that is industry standard on any item).Again, we value this customer and understand the frustrationWe have found that we must honor our warranty to the letterOtherwise, we would literally be changing light bulbs and performing various home maintenance itemsI have attached some of the forms that we have from the final walk through and other pertinent information regarding this complaint
