I spoke to Mr. M[redacted] several days ago when he called here. When we hung up I thought that we were in agreement that Mr. M[redacted] would call me with the model number of the washer & dryer. I have not been called with that. According to our shop foreman, the washer worked when he went to his home to look at it. Bennett's would like the opportunity to look at the unit again in our repair facility before we commit to do anything. I want to see personally that it doesn't work. I am getting conflicting stories from Mr. M[redacted] & our employee. I disagree that selling price does affect the unit. This was sold on consignment at much less than the book value. The seller refused to fix anything because he lost so much money on the sale. Stacy R[redacted]

The response from Bennett's RV is not completely accurate. We do not have a combination washer dryer. They are separate stackable washer/dryer units. When George W[redacted] made the house call he also had difficulty with the washer controls. He finally got the washer to begin filling with water and immediately turned it off. He never ran a complete cycle. After he left my wife attempted to wash. It wouldn't work at all. That's when we checked the dryer, it runs but will not heat. I called the salesman, he said he would have the repairman Bennett's used to call me. After a week and no response I called the salesman again. The repairman called, at this time I learned the flashing light at the on switch represented a computer problem which the repairman said was beyond economic repair. I called the manufacturer and they advised me to buy a new washer. That's when my salesman gave me a quote on the new units. Said he couldn't help with the cost! My last conversation with George W[redacted] was in late March but had conversations with my salesman thru May. We are not novice to RV appliances. Our Motorhome also has the same washer. The units involved in this complaint do not work and have not worked since purchased. I was told company policy on all used units was that all systems on the unit would be in proper working condition unless sold as is. It makes no difference what the book value shows or what I paid for the RV. Your reputation is only as good as your word! This is not the only problem I've experienced with Bennett's RV. May of 2015 they installed an incompatible A/C unit on my Motorhome. I went to Colorado and spent 2 months without air conditioning thru June and July. They wouldn't send a repairman to fix it. After returning home the service manager kept telling me there was no problem. I called Coleman, they informed Bennett's and myself it was the wrong A/C unit. Then they installed the proper unit! No apology or compensation for the inconvenience. I guess hands on experience is a great teacher.
