Had to put a star to post, too bad there is no rating for 0. Michael is the most unprofessional, unreliable person. Quoted us $1500, to cut tree down, he showed up 1 time and cut 1 limb down, which is still sitting in our backyard. Have pictures if needed. After multiple no call/no shows to continue/complete the job, after saying he would show up wanted to charge $350, which would have been 25% of the quoted estimated. The limb that was cut down was not even worth $100. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY
Second day in a row I have cleared for this company to do my trees and start work. THey are a no show, no response and they were supposed to start a two day job today at my house to trim eight large trees. Besides my time wasted, I will need to get another company to come in to do the work. This outfit seems fly by night, shady, and not respectful of my time.

I hired Bennett's Tree Service to trim and remove limbs on two trees - one in the front (cherry tree) and one in the backyard in the burm area (locust) tree.
They arrived on 4/3/18 and removed branches, unfortunately they did not use ropes to help lower the limbs to the ground and one of the large limbs on the locust tree fell on the roof and deck and damaged the Leafguard eave and also tore a screen on the bathroom window. Additional damage was noted - broken stepping stone and bent lawn edging. My son and I both heard the house shake when the limb hit the roof and deck. Bennett's did repair the screen but now refuse to pay for the damaged Leafguard eave, 1,127.50. They did the damage and I want them to pay for the new Leafguard eave. My HO insurance will not cover this as this is the responsibility of Bennett's Tree Service under their liability insurance.
I have all the emails related to this event.
I am disputing the allegation of damage to gutter on the following grounds:
· The original job was completed on 4/2/2018.
· The estimate reflects an area where we did not work at all.
· This job was a trim and as such, there were no big limbs removed – I cleared a few dead branches and tried to preserve the tree so that it would last perhaps another season or two.
· I was informed of a damaged gutter on 4/18/2018 - over two weeks after the job was completed.
· Upon inspection, I found small indentations on the bottom of the gutter.
· The Client informed me that she had contacted the gutter company and that she had asked them whether the gutter could be bent straight by hand. The company informed her that she could not do this. I am not sure who bent it and why the Client would ask the gutter company about this. The Client also informed me that the gutter was still under guarantee.
· Note that on the night of 4/16/2018, there was severe wind and damage to trees and other structures in Littleton and the surrounding areas as far as Aurora. In fact, I had to do emergency work at another Client where a 40 foot + tree was blown over in her yard.
· This lead me to suspect that there was an incident and that someone had attempted to either remove a fallen branch or fix some other damage and then had tried to straighten the gutter themselves by hooking their fingers over the gutter and pressing their thumbs into the gutter to bend it straight, thus causing a slight indentation in the gutter.
· There was no mention of stones or lawn edging damage – this is the first I have heard of it.
· One must also note that on the day of the tree trim, there was a contractor on the property to look at the sprinkler system. I am in no way inferring that he had anything to do with this, but to back up my assertion that the yard had been neglected, as there were all kinds of breakages and small damages all over the yard.
· There was a large pile of garden trash in the front yard which was fairly dry, meaning that this had been there at least a few days and I removed it as a courtesy. The Client appears to not have much help and this is why I removed it at no charge.
· The son came and sat outside and watched me work and did not say anything to me.
· In fact, I stated to the Client that this tree should be removed and the Client replied that she may call us back at a later timer to remove the tree.
· At this time, there is not much else to add, but to reiterate the above, including the weather, timelines and the place of damage which is not where I was working.Kind RegardsBrian B
